  • my face went straight with all the A-10s they got sitting around,

  • this is a cool video man

  • Intresting pan accross the NE corrner of DM

I could see my friend Tom's house too..

  • They NEED the G airframes for spare parts for the H model Buffs, since the 'Wet Wings' are similar- A thru F models were not 'wet wing' Buffs.

  • so cool!! love it, planes, sdw radio and music three of my 29,438 fave things :)))

  • I was at DM AFB back in 1979.

  • how many square miles does this video cover?

  • Been listening to numbers stations since Iwas about 7 or 8 - I'm 35 now and rarely pick up something from Cuba maybe. Are they all gone? Or do I just have a crap SW? Shame, I always founs it so relaxing even @ that age. Dad gave me the coolest old radio from when he was in the svce. grt vid

  • This is the AMARC base near Tuscon.... their website says these planes are valued at $27 Billion dollars... that's $4 for every person on the planet.

  • awesome. i love the ham radio cia numbers being read in the background. you need to cut out the suburbs though and mix in some other surreal black and white footage from the cold war

  • I have to disagree, I like the simplicity of this. And I like seeing planes, planes, planes... suburbs... and then more planes. That juxtaposition of the civilian world and the military one.

  • I disagree too - this is really a lovely piece of art. Good mix of tunes and numbers - you could possibly bring CocoRosie up a bit in the mix, though it is quite haunting. I've saved this flv on my hard drive ;-)

  • neat idea. How old is the picture? The B52s have been been cut into pieces for a long time now, in this shot they are still together. It was part of a disarmerment deal with the USSR at the time.

  • thanx for the info sadly i dont know how old the pictures are.

  • with the F-4's along Kolb road and the KC-135's in area 8, this dates to late 1990's-early 2000's

  • the A10's tell me it was more like 2002 too 2004

  • All the G models are still here, only the tall tails are gone
