Beverly Jeanne is FANTASTIC. Such a beauty. Beverly and Paul Michael Thorpe both came from the "Solid Gold Live" show that was playing in Las Vegas at The Riviera Hotel at the time. I was working showroom security there also and knew them both. The dancers were all great but Beverly was about the Classiest and Nicest of the bunch. Such a Talented and Georgous woman!
Don't get me wrong. I don't like Beverly because she's like the oldest woman in the group. Her dances is a little bit slow than the other girls. And I don't like her moves in every roll call parts either because her moves shows nothing.
Ummm, what is there about your statement to get wrong? It is clear you don't care for Beverly, that is OK - we all have our likes and dislikes, and no on is saying you have to like Beverly. She has PLENTY of other fans.
It's OK to have your own preferences and favorites!
-and despite my other remarks, Beverly Jeanne was a wonderful dancer in her own right without any comparisons. I had some favorites during The Latter Period as well.
I think we all had our favorites from the orginal group and losing them took it's toll on the show. I am glad to see that even with the changes, we found others to admire (with or without resembling originals). For me there was no replacing Tony or Deborah, but the new dancers shined brightly in their own special way......

ronafer69 wrote:"Beverly was the elegant version of Deborah Jenssen." I have a serious problem with the notion Deborah was not elegant.
You know that comparison never even occurred to me until someone pointed out how in the 1st season her hair was straight and she never smiled (trying to make her appear more like Deborah). And I noticed the "similarity" putting these Spotlights together. And now you make this comment!! Thanks!!
They always seemed to replace a dancer with someone who looked and danced similar and although I was devastated at Deborah's departure, Beverly did help to soften the blow just a bit.

@lbCharmed1 Beverly is one of my top three. So classy and sexy. Is there a spotlight on Eileen and Nicole out there?

I wonder what her last name was. "Jeanne" doesn't sound like a real last name. My curiosity is piqued. :)

Oui, Elle était une bonne chorégraphe, mais je préfère le style de chorégraphie de Kevin.

Too me Beverly was the elegant version, yet not as sexy & sultry as Deborah. I liked them both, yet that's my opinion.
