You can only gold star a song if it's played on Expert.

This game takes commitment. When I first got it in the summer, I played it all the time and I was able to rate 5 gold stars on every son but.I stopped playing it after school started. I tried to play it today and I could barely rate 4 stars on hard. It's pretty sad.
