I am a great Green Day fans and I really disagree with @gjoyride1 and @SKYLEROFNY . Joey Ramone and Billie Joe Armstrong (Vocalist and Lead Guitarist in Green Day) have met each other around 2000, and they agreed with each other alot, and made good friends. A few years later, sadly enough Joey died a few years later. The point is, I'm a fan of both and I think Green Day is just as punk as Ramones.

And I ain't saying that Ramones is bad, I like Ramones also, but their Punk-Rock. I like Punk-Rock but when I say punk, I mean Punk, not the music genre.
