While I do agree, this isn't what I'd call her strongest effort, I don't think it should be criticized just because it doesn't have Celtic influence or sound like The Corrs music.

I suspect a big reason for her doing a solo album is so that she can try different styles and explore some things that she could never do as part of The Corrs.

That's why people go off and do solo projects, so they can do something different.

That's what I thought. The rythm of the synths are similar to Goldfrapp's 'Twist'. I think this is a sexy song it grows on you, its not at all 'Corr like' but Andrea's charm carries it off

The nice things about the Corrs are the family aspect, and the lovely folkiness of the music. It was what made them original. This is dross. I'm not sure what she is trying to prove. Guaranteed, if Andrea had done an acoustic album of her playing lovely songs on a piano or guitar, that would appeal to all The Corrs fans. (ie- all ages). This could be by anyone. Her voice is not good enough or interesting enough to carry off an "alternative" sound like this.

Andrea is on her own now and I like her new album but it will not catch on in the states for one reason, cost ($34), is to much and that has hurt the Corrs before with album sales.
