  • @alona724 i think she knows how to do her hair so it doesnt matter if its curly or not. many black women wont excercise because they say it messes up there hair but in reality, they rely on stylists or don't know how or are bad at doing their own hair. but, you could do less strenuous excercises like yoga, belly dancing or simply walking 30 mins a day that wont mess up the hair.

  • I started watching your video because you're so freakin', freakin', freakin', hot, but kept on watching because you have intelligent advice. I'm in to fitness, (wellness) and body building as well. It's amazing how many people at the gym don't start (and never get) to square one...what type of body they're shooting for.

    Diet isn't stressed enough IMO. Fruits, veggies, lean meat, nuts and water. People can't see the results if its covered in fat, right?

    (Intelligence is sooo sexy (swoons)).

  • I have a question for you. I am also into fitness. My issues is with feeling like I have to compromise either my hair for fitness or fitness for my hair. I work out 2-3 times per week and wash my hair after each workout. Do you have issues with your hair drying out from sweat or excessive washing? How do you deal with keeping your hair healthy while you keep up with your fitness?

  • @drakendrones Yes, I found a way to keep my fitness and my hair healthy. I began using shampoo's that does NOT contain sulfate. The ones tat I use are "Enjoy" and "Giovanni". I also started to use this product called "Hair One" from Sally's. It is similar to "Wen " but less expensive. I am now working out 4-5 times per wk and my hair is not becoming excessively dry and damaged from the shampoos. The hair one is spectacular!

  • I LOVE Oxygen magazine! By the way, doesn't your goal depend on your body type? Someone that's a mesomorph (like myself) won't necessarily get the same results or have the same shape as someone that's an endomorph, for example. I think they'd have to find out their body type first and then work out to fit that body type. We can have an idea of what we'd like to look like in the end, but a mesomorph like myself will never have the same results/shape of an endomorph, in the end. :o/

  • Only one I completely disagree on is the BF% scale. It varies based on way too many factors and is difficult to gauge progress on. I know people who have had one for years, dropped many pounds of fat and it still reads the same. Skin fold calipers would be an easier, and cheaper, way to gauge BF%.

  • you know,it funny how often people detract from the purpose of my videos,,,the main purpose is LOSING WIEGHT!!!THE HEALTHY WAY!!im giving u suggestions on what can be used as an aid in your wieght lost goal,,,im not trying to get too technical with people but ultimatly, i want people to change their unhealthy habits,,,which i dont feel is a bad thing.....

  • you cannot spot train one area when it comes to fat burning,and there are many ways to tone up,and I happen to like doing 15 - 20 reps versus anything else because I bulk up fast...not like a man but like a women...and yes u can look like those women on the cover but it takes discipline and constancy...and u must eat right accordingly for the look ur going for...80% nutrition....i will have more videos soon....

  • Enhancing a particular body part is a common goal for many, and it is the same as spot reducing, which you pointed out cannot be done. It would be great if we could point to the cover of a magazine and say, "I want to look like that," but unfortunately that cannot be done either. You briefly touched on the importance of knowing your body type, and I look forward to hearing what else you have to say about it.

    i really want to start exercising because im very lazy and i barely walk... i am skinny i weight like 112 pounds but i have horrible love handles and belly and i would like to lose that fat but i want to be healthy too and in shape what do u suggest? heheh
