I remember seeing this miniseries when it was originaly broadcast (1976 or 77). I thought it was one of the best movies ever made.

I was an extra in this movie. I am the medic assisting ernest borgnine. In take three, I leaned over borgnine and knocked him out with my medic helmet by mistake. His I rolled up in his head and they had to call a real medic.
