i can't even begin to explain to you how much it means to me personally that this video exists. i was 5 when jerry died so for years i thought i was doomed to a life without having the chance to experience the amazing deadhead community and the source of that community....the live grateful dead experience. this was my first "dead" show and i could never have dreamed of a more amazing experience! the single greatest moment of my brief 20 years of life occurred between 4:02 - 4:28 of this video.

The best version of this tune, IMHO, is still the Greek on 7.13.84; but this is as much octane as I can take these days. It is SO GOOD to see Phil and Bob excited to be on stage. And with a nerd from the Hawkeye State. Woo-ee!
