During that era, next to or after the Doctor, at 6'4" David Thompson was the most explosive leaper and dunker on a consistent basis with Doc. This guy had the original 44 inche vertical. He was very great before the knee went out.

People today dont realize the great games Julius and Thompson played against one another. It was Doc's 1976team that beat the Nuggets in the last of the ABA's championship. Doc went off in that series.
