Yeah the shadowed figure is definitely a feline of some sort. Given that we do not know the size of the tree or the branch it is on I would have to say it is a household cat up in a tree, might even be two of em up there from the racket.

@Tangywhite There are lots of raccoon's in the area, but a raccoon's body is more short & fat. When I saw this animal. It's body was bigger than a raccoon 2.5 ft long maybe 50-60 Lbs. You can also hear the hiss of a cat @ 0:16

@Hippiegeo. You may right about some animal attack. This is not a cat. Cats didn't have that long trunk. My preference is also to Marten or Weasel. Both these animals are cornivore. See from 0:39 to 0:41. You see, this animal do weird think with hes body and head. Now I thing this might to be Weasel.

@Hippiegeo I would have to agree with you if I haven't seen some rather large cats. The house cat is thought to being something about the size of a small dog, but all of my own cats are bigger than lasaopsos (sp?). And there is a man out there with photos of his own cat that is bigger than a dog.

Sounds like a raccoon, acting like a raccoon, my vote is it's one of the raccoons that escaped form plum island that actually made it to the shore and didn't drown and wash up on it. However, i'm pretty sure nothing is stopping raccoons from living on long island any ways. They can live in some VERY urban environments.

It's a racoon. I know exactly where this video was taken, and there are lots of racoons in the area. If you have a home nearby, you'd hear them in the night quite often. With that information, I'd put money, and lots of it, on it being a racoon, even though I was unable to see anything in the video clearly enough.

The animal seen at the end seems to be a regular domestic cat (perhaps a large feral one...) It may be a cat fighting with or trying to attack/kill another animal (or another cat.)
