dwarrren, you can not compare it to the old generation of ATR's, Jetstreams, EMB 120's etc. they are all extremely noisy in comparison to the dash 8. but there certainly is a noticable difference between the Dash 8 Q400 and the Q300...

I always love to fly Dash8 but I wear glasses now, and I can't afford the flight training because I reciently got laid off from the golf Course,
