I'm wondering if anyone else is finding that the presets sound nothing like the bass used in the video? I even tried to modify it using the steps so it was exactly like the one in the video with no luck, it sounds really bad in comparison. Using FL Studio.

no one on youtube knows how to get even close to skrillex's sound. if you listen carefully, its way more vocal and not burping. i have seen every vid and no one is close.

Same here I followed the instructions to the point and it doesn't sound like yours much. It sounds like yours but not as "burp like". I also added a compressor and reverb to it and it only helped slightly. Why not upload the KSD file? Thanks for the tutorial!

same here man, i followed every single step i swear by it, im moderately familiar with using massive to its potential but it still doesn't sound like it. would it because I am not using an external effects on it? or is it just by it self? I even went lower octaves like 2 and it still sounded weak and nothing as dirty and growly, I also understand the lfos but i dont understand what 5 lfo contains?

@andrewisontop You missing a step. Make sure you modulate correctly. Rate must be different on your pitch and filter!

@swithitdown hey bro, only eq and verb. Use speech waveform on Bend + with full disto on brauner tube and modulate the pitch, wt pos, intensity, bandpass filter and cutoff. That is the basic. Fiddle with that a bit and u will come right.
