agreed. But Cheryl didn't ask for everything to go so public, she probably would have preferred no one to know about it, apart from her family. It's obviously terrible that it happened to her, and that it happens to other people, but i think that the fact that it got televised, and was so public was kind of a good thing because it helped raise awareness to the disease.
