i hope everyone who says jordan wouldnt be dominant in todays game watches this. here is mj at 38 av what...20 ppg? ppl have the nerve to think that the 22-35 yr old mj wouldnt destroy this league. get outta here!
The thing i love about Micheal Jordan is that he inst a stuck up asshole and actually has a heart and is a pretty nice guy.The definition of a true and honorable man. Wish there were more like you but yet there wont be another Micheal Jordan................
He shouldn't of retired ... I mean theres no point as you can see he still kicked but on the court and its not like he was slow or anything... thumbs up if you agree
people diss him harshly for replaying but this wasnt a follow up,a continuation of his career all the games he played was for charity for the 911 victims
Michael Jordan's greatest weapon? His shooting? Nah, His athleticism? Nah, His speed and strength? Nah, try PSYCHOLOGICAL ADVANTAGE over anyone he faced on the court. He had his opponents psyched out before they actually faced him. The greatest weapon ever created is one you don't have to use. When all you have to do is look into your opponent's eyes when you're defending them or after making a shot on them and they look away avoiding eye contact, YOU KNOW THEY ARE AT THE MERCY OF JORDAN.
It's a shame his knees didn't hold up during the 2001-2002 Season. I truly believe that if he was 100% healthy and able to play in all 82 games, he would've easily averaged 25-28 PPG, 6 RPG, 5 APG and led the Wizards to the playoffs definitely. It would've been great to see how he would've played during the playoffs.
It's ridiculous how good he still was at that age. His game continuously transformed throughout his career. He just got to his spots and worked on guys all game. His footwork was amazing.
The sad part about all of these preseason game highlights is that he should have never been playing in ANY of those games. It would have saved his knees for the 01-02 season. He planned on sitting the preseason out but David Stern - not knowing Jordan wanted to sit out cuz of his knees - said Jordan, if he wasn't hurt, had to play. The games were all sold out cuz of him and MJ wouldn't admit to an injury.... tragic
what sad about todays kids is that they think their stars today are better than jordan. but during his wizards days at the age of 39 and 40 he took all the young guns to school. just imagine a jordan at his prime.....he'd destroy the league today
@WushuDude13 omg bro , these are the words ive been getting so mad at or past years, ur so right bro, wtf is up with todays generation, they think bryant, and lebron are better then jordan, their so dumb, they dont now the micracles jordan used to make because they were to busy playing in the sandbox, its rediculas, just like rap, they think lil wayn in 50 cent are better then 2pac and biggy smalls, bro ur right man, i agree with u, jordan is the best ever, even at his older days!!
@WushuDude13 actually dude I'm 18 and I know beyond any doubt that Jordan is in a league of his own. No other guard in NBA history has career averages of more than 30 points with over 50% shooting!
Technically, that's not true. Lebron James, Dwyane Wade and Carmelo Anthony entered the NBA the year after MJ retired. Still, I understand your point. From 38-40 he played awfully well, and it was very fun to watch...it still is fun to watch, but with all that he did during those two seasons, he didn't win. No one ever accepts the fairytale ending.
not kobe! not lebron! michael jordan!!! michaeljordan is way better than them i dont care what u say michael jordan is the best and will always be the best!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Agreed if you watch Jordan highlights, you will see how awesome he was. Lebron is good Ill admit, but until he win some ships he doesnt compare to MJ.
@rbjr No? It wasn't out of the ordinary to score 120 130 points a game back then, the D is MUCH harder, and how would the league change that anyway? Stfu
the day any single team devices defensive tactics designed to stop a single player, the day i'll believe you. i've never known anything other than the 'Jordan Rules'-which was even published into a book!- that was set up to stop a player from scoring.
no...thats actually the completely opposite of what you just stated. The handchecking rule in this league makes defenders so passive, instead of playing up on shooters and being physical/aggressive they are soft and give at least two feet of room hence kobe's effective elbow jumper
kobe is a great player, but jordan is way more better, much greater.. kobe tries to copy jordan's fade away jumpshot... mike is more acrobatic and changes his state of grace and artistry everytime he elevates in the air, the hangtime is so much fan to watch than kobe... c'mon guys, don't you see it? the cradle dunk and windmill that mj did many times before is more difficult than any of kobe's dunk today...plus, the defense during jordan's time was way more physical compared today.. PEACE
At the end, Jordan said to Paul Pierce, "You know, you should wear a headband." Boom. Changed history.

I hate how my friends always thinks that Jordan only dunks the ball. They don't know how good he is with his lay-ups and jumpshots! G.O.A.T!
