@simpson803 look around ebay, the 12 has the same specs as the 15, 2000wrms 4000w peak 5000w burp. Take a look on Orion's website, the 2010 version with the black dust cap instead of silver is exactly the same sub mechanically.

I think there about 2.8-2.9cf per chamber with the subs in. Little small as the recommended is 3.5cf but i couldnt get a box that big in.

I wouldn't trust any prefab box with a sub this big and powerful. You gotta get'em built strong, there's about 80+ screws in that box, construction adhesive (PL Premium) with bracing and silicone caulking.

fi btl isn't left field. the orion will do it for sure and last a long time, still haven't had a single issue with mine. Both the btl and orion with do 148+ with the right setup. the incriminator ive never heard

Welding cable is designed to take low voltage and high amps. (I am a certified welder) for heavy duty welding your looking at 30v or so and 200+amps, the cable has thicker strands and has a higher load capacity but its less flexible.

np.. it also has thicker/stronger shielding normally with a paper layer in between the strands and the jacket. Its much more durable to abrasion and stuff but more expensive, if you can find used welding cables that are in good shape its the best way to go IMO.

its 46" x 16" x 19" deep. The ports are 3" x 10" x 14" deep.. there a little small but it seems to be a good size for this car.. Its just a hair under 3cf per chamber when the subs are in but it was the biggest box i could build without having to take out the seats to get it in.

no it wouldent, you never seal a ornion period, only time u seal a sub is if its junk and cant handle much power, like sony xplods or somthin, ported gives you deeper lower bass that sealed cant give you...

No, You're not exactly right. If you want a sealed box then you're aiming for a more accurate punchy bass. If you want an unsealed box then you're right on this one, you're looking for a deeper lower bass that's going to shake you're whole car.

The HCCA's are big, heavy, insane subs that you'll never want to replace. I think there finally broken in. I got everything of ebay, the two 30001BD's were about 750us each (used) and the subs were 650us for the pair plus $200us to ship them up to canada. The 80+lbs EACH!!!

You should check out iraggi alternators, there expensive but by far the best and i wish i had one myself. I just have a 200amp rebuilt one and 3 batteries. Id say a good battery upfront and a nice deep cycle in the rear is all you need unless you got more funds then go with a 2nd deep.

all depends on the car, id say start with subs up and ports back as thats normally the best for hatch's. orions love airspace, go larger than reccomended if you want spl. thier guidlines seem great for daily use tho.

If you dont have the bank you can get 2 hifonics 2608D's and run one for each sub. Fairly cheap but still a really decent amp. my T30001BD pushes both pretty good but i want one for each lol

I had (and still do) the Boss BLX5000 and its pretty good but i had a problem with it overheating alot and going into thermal protection when i was using it with my 12" stroker, but i ended up blowing it after a month or two
