But why be surprised, the personnel are being exposed to depleted uranium munitions as well as the unfortunate civilian populations of all the invaded countries. (Too many to mention at this stage). Future747Pilot, actually a Nuclear Aircraft Carrier does not have to "Re-fuel" for 15 years. Actually, the only "refueling" that a carrier like this does is changing out the reactor every 15 years. Nuclear carriers like the Nimitz refuels underway the most important stuff like weapons, jet fuel, supplies, etc. Conventional carriers are different in the propulsion.

@cjbarry92 I think you should grow a brain and go figure out how little of the oil the US produces/imports is actually used for making fuels. Most of it is used up by the medical and plastics industry as well as the automotive industry. If you really want to "stick it to the man" for his "war for oil", cancel your health care insurance, stop taking your meds, refuse medical care of any form, sell your car, and toss out anything made with plastics(oh wait, thats just about everything these days).

Anyways, at the time of writing those comments I was being fed false information from biased teachers that were only giving us one side of the arguement, which I would like you to understand first, meaing that I was poorly informed on the topic.
