  • All kinds of troops, have my biggest respect. My uncle was a highly decorated soldier, who had spent both time in Afghan, Kosovo, and alot of other places. He passed away a few days into january this year.

He's son (My cousin) is in Afghan right now, but is getting home this monday.

I wish the best for the troops worldwide, their fellow troops, and their family's.

You all have my deepest respect..

    - David Z.

  • I have been stationed at base after base and there is nothing better in this world than our troops! GOD BLESS AMERICA!!!

  • "I have been stationed at base after base and there is nothing better in this world than our troops!"

You need to get out into the world and see for yourself what's good about it. Being stationed from one place to another only allows you to see the troops and nothing else, so obviously they're gonna look like the best thing around!

God Bless America and the rest of the World.

  • What do you think I DO while I am stationed at all the bases around the world? Sit on my ass? I've seen so many different cultures I can't even remember half of them. I didn't even know what the hell Wal-Mart or a dollar was until I was 10 yrs old! And you say I need to get out? I am an American and I have barely ever been in the US! You can't get too much miore worldly than that! And I STILL think the troops are the best damn thing on this planet.

  • "What do you think I DO while I am stationed at all the bases around the world? Sit on my ass?"

Ummm... Well no, you kill people.

"I've seen so many different cultures I can't even remember half of them. I didn't even know what the hell Wal-Mart or a dollar was until I was 10 yrs old! And you say I need to get out?"

Exactly. That's what I mean. You've never seen the real world, because you're going around KILLING PEOPLE.

  • Its not like I want to drag my ass to that desert

what do u care anyway? If you were there you would be killed just that same, all you are to them is another casualty.

Ok what the hell are you 5? How does half of that comment even make sense? And what real world are you in? Once you have seen young men burnt, missing limbs, dieing there is nothing more real than that and trust me I have seen enough of that.

  • "Its not like I want to drag my ass to that desert"

You had a choice, arctk698. You didn't have to go. Did you know that?

"Once you have seen young men burnt, missing limbs, dieing there is nothing more real than that and trust me I have seen enough of that."

And yet, you do the same to others. FYI, I have seen the VICTIMS of your bastard president's 'war'. THAT'S the real world I live in, arc.

  • Thanks for debating but I really don't see how I am gaining anything from this. I'm going to keep fighting for my country like a good soldier and a good citizen no matter what. You can stay in your safe little house and go and blab you opinions to others while you still make absolutely no changes in the world around you. Have a nice day. God Bless America.

  • Giving up so soon, arc? Shame. I was hoping you might see sense and open your mind a little.

  • "I am an American and I have barely ever been in the US!"

That's the whole problem. STAY PUT and you might find that the world has never been safer.

"And I STILL think the troops are the best damn thing on this planet."

Well you would, wouldn't you, since you've never seen anyone else.

  • I really like this song. And the video is great.

Thank you for this video and using your song in it. There are a lot of soldiers out there that would like to thank you...but unfortantly cant right now. So thank you.

  • Try again. You meant well but none of your pictures are inspiring. I couldn't watch past the first minute.

  • Thanks for your comment. If you stopped at 1 minute, you missed the best parts. The pictures weren't meant to be necessarily individually inspiring, but simply helping to tell the story with the lyrics. So, you may want to "try again" in watching it. Thanks.

  • Iraq never threatened America's 'freedom',newmethod. Iraq's freedom was stolen by America, before it even had a chance to flourish.

  • Thanks for the comment sweetsingeruk. However, we are merely trying display the loving side of our service men and women who are trying to help the Iraqi people. And, you can see first hand in this video some of the aid given and love shown on many times a volunteer basis. We know that the war is very controversial politically and internationally, but we're all about showing the "love side" of our troops that many forget about. Thanks again.

  • With all due respect, new, the troops have 'done their bit' in Iraq. It's time to leave, not love.

  • Thanks again for the note. Again, that's more of a political discussion. The love being offered by many of the troops who are just there following orders is our only focus. Thanks again.

  • Thanks for saying 'many of the troops'. I agree that some of them are geninely good people, and I wish them all the best, and I hope they come home soon. Alive.

  • "Sacrifice of love"?? Gimme a break!

  • WTF Are you talking about? Our soldiers leave their families behind to defend America. They sacrifice the love they would receive from their families to be in Iraq preserving our freedoms and our joys. Don't forget that if the war front was not in Iraq or the middle east, it would be here at home. How many terrorist attacks occurred on American soil after 9/11? Zero.

  • shadow, what the hell are you waffling on about?? Iraq was NEVER a threat to America. NEVER. And now your 'soldiers' are there, raping kids! PLEASE cut the crap. Oh, and btw, BUSH did 9/11.

  • First off soldiers are not "raping children" get your facts straight, and as someone who is signing up for the military I kinda take offense to that.

  • Hayden, I live in a country where we are NOT deprived of knowledge. You, unfortunately have even your commercials censored! American 'soldiers' have, and ARE raping little children. Please don't link your name to theirs by joining the military. There must be something better for you to do. Like washing cars.

Here's something else - A GI just PAID someone to shoot him in the leg so that he wouldn't have to go to Iraq. I bet that never made the news in America!

  • "First off soldiers are not "raping children" "

Yes they are. Get YOUR facts straight. I'm OBVIOUSLY not talking about all troops, am I? Just the nasty creatures that DO rape children and then set fire to their bodies.

I don't hate America, Hayden, just American arrogance.

  • "Our soldiers leave their families behind to defend America."

Against Iraqis? What did Iraqis do to America? NOTHING.

"Don't forget that if the war front was not in Iraq or the middle east, it would be here at home. How many terrorist attacks occurred on American soil after 9/11?"

Tell it to BUSH, 4shadow20. He did 9/11. Fight your 'war' against him, NOT innocent Iraqi children.

  • awesome song and video.
