I love your technique on this, sounds great. My son is learning this and he is much better picker than I am, but I'm going to learn it so I can do a duo with him (he don't know it yet :) Thanks
I just ADORE your flatpickin' guitar - you're so very talented, & I love that, in just about any "acoustic" instrumentalist! (Kenny-G would be an exception to that rule!)
Hi - thanks - I don't have any tabs for it - I play it in standard tuning with a dropped D. I now play it a bit differently and hold down the 5th A string at the 5th fret to get an extra ringing D string when I'm playing the main melody. Good luck with it - if youve got the first 30 secs well then, your half way there!
i've seen napoleon dynamite numerous times - i caught the tail end of it on comedy central last night and this version of the song was playing in the background (i believe by patrick street?!)
anywho, before i fell asleep i promised myself i would figure out the song and find the tabs..... problem..... i don't think the tabs exist! it was hard enough finding the song since it was not on the soundtrack and then figuring out it's patrick street's rendition of penguin cafe orchestra or whatever...
awesome, i love this song i saw it in napoleon dynamite and i was all like i gotta find that! i used it in my movie at the end of julius caesar, but you dont care and i dont blame you, well i've outwritten my welcome probably
Wow . . . this awfully cool and interesting. Very well done. I've been trying to learn this as a solo on guitar but have only managed a couple of parts. I'll be using yours to garner some more ideas on learning this full song. Thanks again. I'm guessing you have a few more songs you could post. Got any?
Very nice enjoyed it.
