Wyclef Jean has been helping Haiti for the past decade. He has not robbed them, when he was down in Haiti after Ike he was trying to raise 100 million dollars. He was not trying to steal 100 million dollars. The man has been trying to spread the word about Haiti for years.

I was watching a clip here on him and Mat Damon after Ike. He was touring Haiti. Never picked up a stick from the floor. AND HE WAS ASKING FOR 100 MIL..!!!SEE IT FOR YOURSELF. HE WAS TOURING. WALKING THE STREETS OF HAITI LIKE A PIMP, DRESSED WELL AND CLEAN, WHILE THE PPL WERE DYING OF DISEASES...WHAT DID HE DO THEN??? THERE IS NO JUSTICE IN THIS WORLD....AND PPL ARE IGNORANT TO GIVE TO THIS IMPOSTOR..!!

I see...the cameras were on him for the 2 minutes of the clip, and you think that represents (*sigh) the whole tour. You claim he was walking the streets of Haiti ummm "like a pimp" whatever that means and he was well dressed and clean (as if he should have arrived filthy and appeared that way for the cameras. He asked for aid for his country, and...you have a problem with this? With those comments...you're not looking for rational explanation you're looking to demean him. Can't bother.

The above are the main oppressors of the Haitian people and responsible for kidnapping and forcing into exile Jean-Bertrand Aristide, the rightful democratically elected leader of Haiti. The US military is blocking aid from the Haitians. The UN along with the Haitian police death squads are responsible for untold number of crimes. Either he doesnt know his own history or hes not truthful.

Or, may be that's it...you don't plan on helping them at all....they are us period. I don't care which organization you give to you are taking a risk that they will use your monies for its intended purpose...got checkout the CEO for the Red Cross and see how much he is getting paid...Help Haiti!!!!

World Food Program
In my opinion, these are the organizations which will be most effective with your donated funds.

If you give money to almost any organizatio, most of what you give goes to random admin fees. Wyclef was doing it out of his own pocket initially - until the People magazine Jolie donation, which he probably wasn't equipped to deal with... He's no saint - but don't hate!

if Yele was not clean, the big corporate benefactors would not contribute Yele. And whatever Wyclef did wrong before with Yele funds (if he actually did, which I doubt) now he works hard to make better situation for the others than himself now. And at the end of the day, this is the only thing that counts.
