mattrach has incredible use of skill and gets better every time he plays. He also has slightly more creativity. funtwo's strings are a bit more laid back, his style has more melodic sense and is easier to hear. I almost went with mattrach in the end, but after listening to both over and over funtwo won out in the long run. I think it's like pepsi and coke. mattrach is pepsi and funtwo is coke. I wish funtwo would make an updated version!!

I am a guitarist and for me MattRach is alot better. I played cannon rock too, and i know its not so hard to play the funtwo/jerry version - take some time to learn and u get it. MattRach presents much higher skill, speed and whats most important - he enjoys playing. Sitting on a chair and play isnt anything special. There was SO MANY videos of ppl playing cannon rock better than funtwo so i dont really know what to thank him for.

Funtwo just plays the song JerryC has written, adding some pinch harmonics sometimes.

But MattRach wrote is own version, which is amazingly "as close as far" than JerryC's one.

And MattRach also plays JerryC's Canon (look at Canon Rock 3 or The Canon), and he's always good.

Mattrach was faster and more interesting to watch, but musically, funtwo wins. Matt experiments quite a lot and sometimes, mainly in bends, he can get off key. Funtwo plays pretty much flawlessly and his intonation is spot on.

Funtwo has more experiance and the way he flows through the song synchronizes perfectly mattrach is more of a hardcore metalist and Matt looks constapated when he plays. Mattrach just goes crazy, Funtwo has more flow, But thier both good but Funtwo is much better.
