I recently signed up to Al Jazeera English through Cogeco Cable for $3. per month as well. It seems now that I am "glued" to tv for at least 6 to 8 hours per day. Al Jazeera's news coverage wins hands down over US' CNN or Canada's CBC & CTV news networks. I am glad that the Al Jazeera English network is now available to us Canadians.

Didn't I see something a while back where Al Jazeera offered to pretty much give themselves away in the states to any carrier that wanted it? What is this agreement thing? I remember that because I was annoyed that it costs us $3 a month for the one channel in Canada (yeah I am cheap, but then I decided since it pretty much has no commercials $3 a month isn't so bad)

In the UK AJE is available to every TV in the country free of charge alongside other channels such as CNN and RT.
