Sorry guys and gals, I stopped reading after the novel, Darksaber. Anybody know what ultimately happened to a former love interest of Luke's named Callista?

Callista took up resident on a planet where Leia runs into her during a mission. Luke let her go at the end of the novel. Before Caliista came onscene I knew they were going to setup Luke and Mara, seen it coming at some point.

You find that out in the next book, Planet of Twilight, basically the same as "Kay" says. From the moment I first read "Heir To the Empire" I knew that Luke and Mara were going to end up together ... opposites attract don't they.

The second book in the hand of Thrawn duology called Vision of the Future by Timothy Zahn is the book that Luke proposes.

The first book in the hand of Thrawn duology is called Spectre of the Past - you see some of the signs in that book

Jacen was mysteriously kidnapped after NJO and then some guy who looks like him pretended to be him in Dark Nest, and then got lazier about pretending to be him in LotF and then went Sith. Caedus is the one who murdered Mara, but Jacen was killed by LotF/Dark Nest same as Mara, Boba Fett, Vergere, Jaina, and so many others.

I think the romance between Luke and Mara is beautiful. I mean I'm love with the way that they fell in love. She hated him at first but at the end she fell head over heals in love with Luke. They make a beautiful couple...I can't stop crying...I wish they make a real movie of this love story.

The second Thrawn series was a trilogy? I thought it was a 2-book thing: Specter Of The Past and Visions Of The Future...?
