  • lmfao. children i got tired of talking about how you guiys play the same entertainment shows on t,v so i just kept to myself. about anything and everything, peace & love always see ya

  • I've I ever get Alzheimer's, I want my brother to pull the plug.

  • Yss,that disease causes a person's brain to shrink. It's very scary.A smaller brain results in a gradual loss of nerve cells, and the person becomes senile from loss of memory.A medicine has already been invented which can delay the progress of the disease. But that means it only slows down the process of decay. It cannot prevent nerve cells from dying.Reseachers across the world are now racing to develop a next-generation drag.

  • Hey guys for this cool project that someone has done to raise awareness of Alzheimer's disease. Quite interesting things. Just thought I'd share it with you all. It is the sortmeout.sg

  • This is excellent! I lost my mother recently to Alzheimer's. People need to think beyond memory loss and confusion when discussing this disease.

  • is there a french version of this? cuz this video explains alzheimer disease very well and need it for my science project

  • well i'm scereeewd :)

  • she is worrying so much about the smallest things and has a hard time figuring them out. Can someone tell me when about she will die? or become really lost and has those majure mood swings? i've been searching for info the whole night...

  • @rune121

    Mine too..sad for all.

  • i'm so sad... i'm 16 and i have 2 smaller sisters, my mom is 51 and i found out a week ago my mom has had alzheimer for some time now, don't know how long. (my english is not so good). she told me because i had been getting mad at her because she couldn't remember anything(her effects are getting very bad), i thought it was just because she didn't care to listen. Now only today i searched more info and found out that it is deadly... she is in the logical part now, everythign is so hard for her.

  • I love this video. Explains it perfect. My great grandmother suffered this disease and we watched her suffer this for 8 years. It was sad cause we were best friends, then one day she was calling me my dads name, heartbreaking... Most screwed up disease out there!

  • Wow I like the animation. I am happy to see that some people are talking about Alzheimer disease. I have recently experienced a very nice app on facebook about Alzheimer. Try out this sortmeout.sg and help to share wherever you can.

  • This is a horrible horrible disease.

  • this disease is horrible..I mean no cure...its good to die young instead living with Alzheimer.

  • I work with alzheimers as a caregiver very rewardind an I wrote a song on you tube(Rene's Song I'll Carry You)

  • My grandparents from my mothers side both have Alzheimer... it is terrible thing to watch :(

It's a terrible thing to say but I wish they were dead already or that we shouldn't need to look after them.

  • my mother has alzheimer's, it is a horrible rotton terrible thing

the person just seems to fade away

    please help

  • @ivaniatrans I think it's one if not the worst disease a person can get :( It's especially hard for the people around the Alzheimer patient. Two of my grandparents has it.

  • @ivaniatrans my mom has it also.

  • Does the Alzheimer's kill you?

  • @SentaiFilmworks he kills you,slowly...But its one of the worst deseases a person can have cuz its uncurable and when you have it,you lose your life. You can't remember who you are and you don't have any past memories...

  • I'm a nurse at an assisted living home..Hard to see countless amount of men and woman with this disease..Just had someone pass away yesterday from it..Was skin and bones, only spoke 2-3 words everyday the most, was in bed for over a year drank protein shakes at all meals, and couldnt remember who her family was..Rip and what a sad horrifying disease.appreciate your time with your loved ones and your time spent while youre still young

  • wow. be grateful for what you have, imagine that you cant remember anything in the past few hours, but you know its there but you just cant get it out. :(

  • I pushed my brother down some stairs and he punched me :<

  • Excellent video. Very well explained. The music was very interesting and great graphics, too! I loved them.

    Helped me with my assignment.

  • lamininesecret.blogspot.com This can dramatically improve and arrest this problem

  • My grandmother was just diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease today, a few days ago she was having a conversation with someone who's been dead for 30 years. Frightening to see what this disease can do...

  • Who would I contact about using this particular video in a production I am doing about Alzheimer's?

  • This is so sad

  • I had heard of the illness long ago (and hated its cruelty), but thanks for this video. Very educational, very sad.

  • Great video! Thank you!

  • @SuperTruth77 you are a cruel and callous excuse of a human being. Why are you even breathing our air?

  • @SuperTruth77 you're an asshole!! just know that karma exists and one day you will be in his position you insensitive bastard

  • @SuperTruth77 You are disgusting, wasting the air humans breathe. Tormenting your own wifes father... ugh, I don't even want to waste my breathe with you, it'll be better used to pray for your wifes father...

  • @SuperTruth77 ayo, you need some god in your life bro. If you morals would allow you to do something like that, you need jesus. He says he came for the sick (like you), so search for him. Telling you now dude, search, and you better..you've been warned, not a good warning, but what else can i say from behind a computer, because jesus said to speak to people, and if they accept, awesome, and if they don't, life sucks for them

  • my mom passed of this after 9yrs. we need a cure.

  • I didn't know what caused this terrible disease, but now I do, thanks to this video.

  • My grandmother suffered with this disease for 20 years. It's very uncommon to live that long with the disease so we watched at an agonizingly slow pace, this disease destroy her life. The stages lasted longer than normal so it was a very long drawn out process for her and for us. The last few years were spent in a nursing home. She really made it to the end of this disease, she couldn't walk, swallow and finally she couldn't breathe. There needs to be more funding to finding a cure.

  • My grandmother is dying of this, she's in the very final hours of life. She's been sleeping since last Tuesday. That was the last time she ate or drank. She's barely breathing. It's been difficult, but the end hasn't been so dramatic for the family since we have been dealing with her dying inch by inch for about 10 years. It's one of the worst diseases possible. We need to help fund the scientific research that is working to understand and stop this absolutely horrid and slow death sentence.

  • Actually some people with alzheimer's disease can live very long and some very short. keep in mind many people don't go to the later stages of A.D becuase they end up dieing from something else or natural causes. If you do manage to live long enough though, you might experience forgetfullness like knowing how to talk and eat like in the video.

  • Oh my god

oh my god I didn't know it killed people

oh my god, how long does it take? <3

  • @doddleoddle in the vid it says like 8-10 yrs :'(

  • We are a band at Duke University using music to support Alzheimer's research. Donate $2.50 to the Alzheimer's Association and you receive our full 4-song EP including 'A Beautiful Life'- a meaningful song about coping with Alzheimer's.

Support the cause at CloverCreekProject dotcom !!!

  • do you know the plant called "MORINGA OLEIFERA " mostly called "THE TREE of LIFE".. I'm just a student of care giving here in Philippines, who is learning and studying about this Alzheimer's disease. The leaves of the Moringa are among the most protein - dense leaves of any species, and contain every essential amino acid required for a whole source of protein. Amino acids from proteins are use to make a neurotransmitters that allow your brain cells to network and communicate.

  • my mom had early onset alzheimer's, its vary rare. mum died at 46. a few years after, i graduated high school.

  • @stephmc111 Your mom died of it ?

    My sincere condolences.

My mom has it too :(

  • Comment removed

  • Omg as devastating as diseases are, i think this one is the most heart breaking of them all.

  • Dude... this disease SUCKS

  • Thank you it was complete presentation.

  • to help stop the cure, go to the alzheimer's association website and donate money to help cure alzheimer's. donate under "kathleen kinchen" or the team name "the purple pacers"

  • Lord have mercy.

  • @Dj1LL uhhhh didn't the lord create this disease

  • I promised to my mother that one day I'll be a doctor and make a cure for people having Alzheimer's, just for the memory of my grandmother who was not cured from this disease.

  • To try to shrink that gap, Dr. Kristine Yaffe of the University of California, San Francisco and colleagues gave an overnight sleep apnea test to 298 women…

I try now trough this way as they take out the real ""Important"" movies… mmmm.?!

No links allowed,… so search for; “PREVENT ALZHEIMER NASIVENT” …

    It’s real good to know…

  • There are simple techniques you can do to preserve your identity please check out my channel for further help. Thank you

  • The statistic is wrong. Alzheimer's affects 20% of people over the age of 70 (one in 5 people).

  • DON'T FORGET!! Money exists. But so does God! AND SO DOES SATAN! nOW, WHOSE SIDE ARE YOU ON?!!

  • @squirell1952 that makes no sense

  • Would voluntary euthanasia be a solution or a problem? Just imagine, if you

decide to bump off your granny, you leave an empty bed for the hospital to

rent out to the next victim of some horrible disease. God, being an American

Republican - bless His little heart - would, no doubt, approve. So why not put

it to the vote? Admittedly, only HALF the electorate would turn out to vote

anyway. But let's vote Yes of No, shall we? I humbly await your

replies. Yours sincerely in Christ. Des.

  • Americans think more of a dollar bill than they do of a human. When they die,

they cannot take their money with them. They THINK they can. They seem

to worship Mammon instead of Allah/God The Father/Creator, call Him what

you will. This greenback bill will get you nowhere. Share it with others. Buy

food for them. But do NOT purchase alcohol because this is what keeps

    the poor poor!

  • @squirell1952 dude... this greenback bill wil get you ANYWERE! and according christianity at one stage heaven, one simple reason why people worship the all mighty dollar instead of a higher power, the money exists

  • AS U.S.A. IS GOD'S GUESTHOUSE ON EARTH, WHY DOES WASHINGTON LET ITS PEOPLE DIE AT THE DOOR OF HOSPITALS? WHY NOT EMULATE

OTHER FORMS OF PUBLIC HEALTH SUCH AS THE U.K.'s NATIONAL

HEALTH SYSTEM. IT WORKS. THE DEMOCRAT GOVERNMENT SHOULD

STOP EMULATING THE REPUBLICAN PARTY. OH, I FORGOT. GOD IS A

    FUCKING U.S. REPUBLICAN, ISN'T HE???

  • PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE, THEY SAY. CAN WE PREVENT

ALZHEIMER AND PARKINSON FROM SETTING IN IN THE FIRST PLACE?

"PREVENTION" MAGAZINE SELLS ONLY WHAT IT PRODUCES. IF THEY CAN

CURE US ALL, WON'T THEIR MAGAZINE GO OUT OF BUSINESS??? be

as realistic AS Y OU CAN, PLEASE. DON'T LIVE IN A DREAM WORLD. I

HOPE, TOO, THEY CAN PREVENT ALL DISEASES. GOD WILLING, WE

WILL FIND A WAY, A CURE. THE CHRISTIAN SCIENTISTS PRAY LIKE MAD

BUT EVEN THEY GET ALZHEIMER - AND KEEP IT TO THE END!!

  • DEAR SIR OR MADAM: Is Vitamin B REALLY able to "cure" Alzheimer? If so,

would that not put the pills-and-tablets people out of business?I mean, if we could

ALL be cured of everything, all these apirin companies would fold up. THINK

ABOUT IT. These companies don't want to cure everyone, now do they? Look

at all the money the Taxman would lose in taxes!! THINK AGAIN ABOUT THESE

CURES. They are probably only TEMPORARY cures. Pay more and more and

    more money for relief. TEMPORARY!!

  • aaaa where am i???????just playing man this suck right.but its 1 in 10 so i guess theres a chance that we might not get it.

  • My grandmother has the alzheimer's & it sucks but she dose it recognize me sometimes, sometimes she thinks she is my dad

  • @resdsox1

My grandmother has alzheimer's also. She don't know where she is or who she is.

It's very sad to see her that way. Sometimes I wish God would take her so she can rest in peace.

  • @The7legacy I do the same thing with my grandmother too

  • Shit I am 20 years old and have Alzheimers, its not common to have it when you are this young.

  • My Nonna died from Alzheimer's and i think my Dad is going the same way

  • I wrote a song I care for them, on you tube Rene's song "I"LL Carry You

  • my great aunt had this disease... she died from it about 3 years ago i think

  • @Mr.Wonnabee

Doctors and Nurses won't help much, because all they want is your money in the end. Just change your diet and the way you eat...add in more fruits and vegetables to your diet on a daily basis....read my last post, and that will give you a good description on what to do.

  • @WolveLoverTienemien

You really are what you eat and that is the truth right there...Fish, Blueberries, Strawberries, Green Tea, Spinach, Broccoli, Apples, beans, and certain types of nuts have powerful Antioxidants that keep the brain healthy and your entire body.

You have to eat some of these foods consistently everyday to stop the progression...if you can do this, it will really help out a lot. The Choice is yours though! I'm not forcing you to change your current diet.

  • Damn that cruel disease.....

  • My grandpa has alzheimers and he is in critical condition right now and he might die this weekend

  • We can fight this disease together. Did you know that by 2050, more than 15 million people in our nation are projected to suffer from and eventually die from Alzheimer's disease? Starting as young as in one's 30s, anyone can be affected by this terrible disease which prematurely steals away one's mind and memories. Donate to the leading sponsor of Alzheimer's disease research and care - the Alzheimer's Association - today at this link. Thank you so much :)

  • Early Onset Alzheimer's is a curable disease. Don't be fooled, not just for the elderly, Alzheimer's is an equal opportunity killer...my own Mother diagnosed at the age of 52. As an advocate, I know of even earlier ages of people who have developed the disease. It's a puzzle that we are on the brink of solving. Go to Alz . org, and click on Advocate, for your way to help by simply using your voice. Hey, you even get emails from Congress! I thought that was kinda cool...

  • I've only known two of my grandparents and both of them suffered/suffer from severe Azheimer's. It was/is tough to watch them fade away. Few months before my grandpa died, I was crying beside him. He didn't know a thing of what was happening, who I was. He was some sort of a plant. And then he looked at me and whiped my tears with his finger. A moment I will treasure.

  • Holy hell.... I looked this up because I was asked to perform at a living home for people with a Alzheimer's. I didn't feel i knew enough about it so i looked it up.. this is what I found and that's so scary!

  • lol when people get this disease they look so fucking funny haha

  • It's possible that my dad has this disease. Just heard the bad news yesterday and I don't know what to think. I've never been close to him but I never wanted him to have a horrible disease. I feel pretty empty but I guess it's better I never got close to him because in that case this would have affected me more.

  • There is a great moviet about alzheimer in youtube Drowning Mind.

  • How many Alzheimer's patients does it take to change a light bulb?

  • Here at Evangelical Homes of Michigan, we provide comprehensive Alzheimer's Care to patients through our Memory Support Center in Saline near Ann Arbor. We believe in providing support to our residents and families, and hope to provide them with excellent care while doctors and researchers look for a cure. Thank you for this video.

  • Okay people I would like to ask you all one question how do you know your love one has this awful horrible disease? Did you know that the only way they know for sure it is Alzheimer's is after death when they go in and cut the brain up. So how do they know its Alzheimer's. I'm going to try to save you a lot of pain and suffering and especially your loved one, with the disease. Did you ever wonder if it was something else? It just might be. A lot of things cause those symptoms.

  • Mother diagnosed at the age of 48. There are early onset forms of the disease that are a genetic disability. The best advice for any of you is to do the best you can to care for your affected loved ones, and prepare for a time where it will be too much of a burden for you or family members to handle- you may need to put them in a retiree home. This is a very sad time but you must come to accept it or the trauma on you will be very damaging as well.

  • Very good, but sad video

  • alzheimer's disease is such an asshole...

  • Thanks for this film. I have watched it several times. It helps me get beyond my sadness every time I watch it and it makes me realize that ALZ, like all other terminal diseases, is relentless but that I am not alone as a care giver or a grieving relative. I just wish there was a way for us to truly know what they were thinking and feeling so we could put them more at ease. So that we could somehow relieve the ungodly pain they must feel.
