The voice of an Angel..Art Garfunkel.. and the awesomely talented Larry K...on the piano of the original of this beautiful, timeless masterpiece ...WHAT has happened to music of today...? THIS is the standard !
le souffle coupé ,magnifique, on ne peut rester spectateur, on vie cet amour, cet force, j ai ndu mal a quitter l image, MAIS JE CROIS QUE SA DECISION FINALE EST LA BONNE?!

@jayatfreelance Yes, Larry Knechtel played on the original recording (for which he won a Grammy) and on S&G's concert tour(s) in the fall of 1969 and spring of 1970. He played keyboards on Paul Simon's first post S&G solo album (Paul Simon) as well as various Art Garfunkel solo albums (Angel Clare, Breakaway, Fate for Breakfast & Scissors Cut). Larry was a 1st call studio musician in L.A. in the 60s/70s and played on numerous top 40 hits for many, many different artists.
@Shevek57 I just read the bio on Larry Knechtel and let me tell you he played that piano...I wouldn't be the same w/o him playing that piano for Simon & Garfunkel...they found the best...he played with such depth listen at the bass (left hand) work it out Larry
Who in their right mind could dislike this song? Have they no soul?
