Thanks for this! I just purchased these 165's new from 6th Ave. for $167.95 shipped on sale. I feel good getting a great price from an authorized dealer because I hear there are a lot of fake Focal's out there. If it's ok I would like to shoot you a message and get some advice for my situation. My last system was in the early 90's when Denon made head units! Denon DCC-8570, MB Quart comp 3 way, HiFonics Olympus VII, 2 RF 12" Punch subs, and a EPICenter- simple + sound QUALITY! I hate 1 note BOOM
@BlackHawkPSU Sure man I'll answer any question ya have. Your old system sounded pretty bad ass. Right now I run Pioneer for head units in vehicles. Once you own a double DIN Navi unit that's as smart as they are nowadays ya don't go back. If you're going for SQ and also some real loud bass there are a lot of good options out there. If you remember back in the day Soundstream Reference amps were the shit. My next setup is gonna be all Soundstream amps. Can't go wrong with Focal.
@Loudizzzzle Cool I appreciate it. I'll get something together and message. Right now I have a Pioneer AVH-P3200BT (DDin) with stock JBL speakers in a Toyota. A friend of mine had a Soundstream amp back when I had my system. Excellent stuff! Can't get them near me these days. No authorized net dealers either? Saw a REF4.760 @ Newegg for $304.99 which is very tempting! I saw talk that they aren't what they were, but I don't know if that's true. I wish Denon still made HU's.. just awesome stuff!
@BlackHawkPSU The closest you're gonna get to Denon quality head units is Pioneers Premier line. It's pretty expensive but it delivers real good quality. You definitely want something that has preouts in the 4-6 range. I was lookin at the 900 watt 4 channel Soundstream. I think that would sound epic on 4 sets of the Focal components.
@Chilln187 Where DON'T I download them from LOL. Piratebay and Demonoid are a great place to start. The hard part isn't downloading them. It's converting them from so many different types of formats to DIVX DVD format. With the laptop living in the car I'm looking to not have to burn discs anymore. Will have several hard drives the laptop ran to the head unit can use for stored media.
@crowbar124 Thanks! Keep watching... there will be a bunch more of these goin in soon! The TVs will be back in shortly also. That will be a pretty cool video.

@k3n12ock Of course the video camera mic does them no justice. In person it's awesome to just sit there and listen to all of the frequencies.
