7:32 Uh... People were always saved by grace and never the law... Maybe you meant something else but Romans 4 makes the argument no one was justified by the law. Romans 3 also. I just scrolled down and NCDG83 also showed this. I appreciate what you do, but sometimes while making a video mistakes are made so I just wanted to deal with that.
2 Tim 2:15.."Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." But if a person studies 2get more knowledge of good..i.e. 2be 'better' Christians..we're still eating from Tree of knowledge of good & evil, trying by our own effort to become better, this still results in death. Jesus Christ came so that He may bring Life. He is the Tree of Life, one who does the transformation work as we humble ourselves, study, ask of Him.
@kdcruz75 Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world. If it were, my servants would fight to prevent my arrest by the Jews. But now my kingdom is from another place." (John 18:36)
The OT is very important for us and there is much to learn from it - in fact, we never will understand everything thats in it. When someone really wants to grow spiritually he has to read the whole bible. There are many christians who read other books and say "this book changed my life", but in fact there is only one book that really changes lifes: The Bible! Because its the Word of God and God speaks directly to us through it. This is a big Grace!
@NCDG83 Amen. That's even confirmed by 1 Peter 3:18-20 when peter tells us that Jesus went to Hades to proclaim to the captives He was who they were waiting for..
Also According to the Author of Hebrews; from Abel-Enoch-Noah-Abraham-sarah-Isaac-Jacob-Joseph-Moses-Rahab-Gideon-Samson-David-Samuel-----to the prophets were all saved by grace through faith and not by obeying the law (Heb 11). They all look forward to the cross just how we all look back to the cross. And also remember that Abraham "the father of faith" saw Jesus Christ? (John 8:56)
Hey bro I just wanna clear something out in da middle of the video. You said OT salvation is by obeying the law but according to Paul no man is justified by the law in the sight of God, for the righteous shall live by faith (Gal 3:11, Hab 2:4).
Even in da OT times, God's people were simply saved by grace through faith and not by obeying the law. They delight in God's law simply bcuz they were already saved. There is not a single person who will get saved apart from Jesus Christ. Even in OT time
The Biblical historical books remind me so much of the modern church. The priests/ministers doing traditional stuff without really knowing the law, the school of the prophets who worked without knowledge of the law, the people's confused worship of the brazen serpent and other gods. Good and bad rolled together. Great video.
So true. So many Christians in Churchianity don't read the Bible and don't understand what Christ means to the world as its redeemer, as the Second Adam, as the Son of Man, as the restorer of man's dominion, as the true Man who has the right to open the seven seals of the Scroll, that the lamb is worthy to judge the earth. Sometimes when I encounter some Christians all I can think of is Hosea 8:12.
@gggggggster oh gee, one more thing. You're equating the entire Bible with "the law." The Torah is the law. The apostles called the Old testament "the law and the prophets." So being told to read the Bible is not really about accepting or not accepting the law. Just saying.
you are 100 prcent wrong Jesus came to accomplish the law never will on jot of the law be removed until heaven earth past away your wrong there is no such thing as oild new testament
@gggggggster Jesus came to fulfill the law and the law abides forever but Galatians says those in Christ are cursed if they stay under the law. Paul tells us that the law was our schoolmaster, that we were like a woman married to a first husband who is now dead. For those in Christ, we are dead to the "old covenant" (our first husband), baptized into Christ's death with Christ our new husband. Acts 15 and 21 state that the gentiles who never received the law shouldn't take on the entire law.
@gggggggster The prophets wrote of a coming "better covenant written on men's hearts" Hebrews 9:15-17 speaks of the testament of Christ's blood. The phrase "new testament" shows up around five times in the Bible to differentiate it from the testament/covenant of the letter. So there are two different covenants. The old covenant was the law in which God works with man's addiction to man's righteousness and the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Those in Christ have Christ's righteousness.
@scifiwritir1 the "better covenant" wasn't a NEW one, just a better understand of the FIRST one (between God and Adam) something like 'if you act as my son, I act as your Father.'
@lovejesusplz "Religion" actually comes from a word that means 'read again.' The Bible is only true to one who reads all of it. Belief is not just something you think or something you say, it's the actions that those thoughts and words make happen.

so when i labour in this world ...i labour to add to satans kingdoms....how do i subtract this ...so that i do not become part of this world
tithe cannot be the answer since that is just a percentage..or maybe the fact that i dont get paid is the subtraction..
