I also haven't seen any other's resist the inevitable like Chino and Miguel if you know what I mean, even trinity seemed to welcome his death. It was very clever, and Smits acted up a storm. I think it was lightyears ahead of the whole Lila storyline (which her terribad acting sank, much like Stiles sank Season 5).

And Season 4 with the Trinity Killer is lighyears ahead of Season 3.. John Lithgow was tenfold better than Jimmy Smits. Hell even Season 1 was better than Season 3.
