Do you think LED's even stand a chance against this? People are all horny about LED lights, but to me plasma seems like a much more viable option. What's your opinion?

Can this lamp keep up to other systems like fluorescent lights or LED's in comparison of energy consumption and visible light?
And how bright is it? Do you scale this in lumens or in an other measurment?
