  • Only in New Zealand could someone pull of that catch!

  • officially best boundary rope catch ever

  • Pretty sure Australian 2nd rows can do this too

  • what happens while the guy was giving the HIGH FIVE and the other guys foot is still outside the BOUNDARY

  • Incrediable catch

  • Come to my channel to see the youth of cricket coming through where my brother practises his bowling in the nets and hits over 70 mph!!!!

  • @MCnTurtle thats not quick...

  • Amazing catch, what a legend!

  • incredible

  • I hope everyone is looking at the "Awareness"

  • @junaidanwar99 I'm I missing something here? Many people now have said "awareness" in quotation marks (as I did) almost as if that word doesn't exist and was made up by the commentator......or I'm I getting the wrong message here?

That word does exist, I even found it in my Oxford English dictionary, it’s a noun :-)

  • Amazzzinggg....

  • Best catch ever

  • Please check out my channel for GREAT CRICKET TUTORIALS to improve your game

  • Amazing, if anyone has time could you please check out my video dominos with tower and matchbox car

  • 39 people love baseball

  • specsavers lol

  • @jamivu23 ...... Thanks for that, I just had a huge laugh at your stupidity.

  • bevan the small

  • obviously the guy who took the catch in the end got credits

  • The first international cricket match was played between USA and Canada in 1844

  • @saadekaminay Interesting, didn't know that. Seems the US lost. Then lost again in the rematch. Maybe that's why we've spent the last 168 years pretending the sport doesn't exit.

  • @DirkRhyolite27 ,you are right mate,Usa did lost,The match took place between 25 and 27 September 1844 at the St George's Cricket Club, Bloomingdale Park in New York. Canada won by 23 runs. The game was watched by between 10,000 and 20,000 spectators and around $120,000 worth of bets were placed.

  • wtf what have you been smoking

  • Another beauty catch WATCH

    /watch?v=40SPylA5O7k&feature=g-upl&context=G276d239AUAAAAAAACAA

  • @ThunderStruckBeast69 Yeah, not a bad catch today, thought of uploading it myself. Also thought of uploading Hopkins getting hit in the jaw by the beamer.....then my wife deleted the match, so I can't :-)

  • @timarulad yea yours wud've been of better quality though, I had to use my phone

  • the sad thing is its cricket so nobody cares

  • @jamivu23 lol yes no cares about the 2nd most popular sport in the world good work dumb fuck.

  • @vanillacoke54 haha yeah maybe in third world countries dumbshit

  • @jamivu23 what like england, ireland, canada, australia, south africa, new zealand and the west indies? you seriously are a huge dip shit.

  • @vanillacoke54 haha jesus kid you are so defensive, i said this as a joke. you should go work on your temper problems. haha and wow nice big countries, ireland and south africa and new zealand? plus i'd like to see you tell some athletes in america that they play a "shitty" sport... like an nfl player, ufc fighters, and some nba players? see what these guys do to train and become the best at great sports and see how crazy they are... plus i never even said anything against cricket really.

  • @jamivu23 A joke to make yourself look like a dumbass? Btw South Africa is a country has a population of 50 million so pretty sure it is big. Training for NFL lol?? The players only have 6 minutes of game time. Look at Saverio Rocca he was like 36 when he started playing. He would never be allowed to train with any AFL team. Also UFC fighters have come to australia and they were dumbfounded by how much running afl athletes did. Sorry but you are dumbass haha.

  • @jamivu23 You sound stupid and ignorant. Big countries such as INDIA; Population 1 Billion+ Bangaledesh population; 120million+, Pakistan and also England play. On top of New Zealand, South Africa, Australia, Sri Lanka, West Indies (Jamaica, Haiti, Trindad etc). Besides, NFL is a lame sport, running time and playing time is barely anything, watch a game of Rugby, Rugby League or AFL, then try say they're better athelete. Mate Rugby shit's on NFL. Americans are so ignorant.. makes me sick.

  • @flea288 yeah lets see, out of all those countries only 1 is bigger than the U.S, dumbass. and i never talked shit about rugby because rugby would be insane and its badass. rugby players are insanely tough, as are nfl players. and it may be lame in your country which is fine because its huge here. cricket isn't huge here... nobody plays cricket here, im pretty sure everyone here thinks it sucks as bad as you think american sports suck.

  • @jamivu23 Dumbass? Read your last few posts, you sound like a massive fucking idiot. Hate talking to cunts like you, wish I never read your shit, because it just makes me hate you arrogant, faggot Country more.

  • @jamivu23 and how many countries care about your shitty sports, like 3?

  • 1:09 Because he's hat to threw that whilst in the ear?

  • awesome catch!

  • I don't know the rules but that was cool

  • Hee hes to thruhh eet Wollst he's in thee ayeh

  • Amazing..Best catch..Better than David Hussey's (in IPL) and Angelo Mathew's (vs Aussies)..

  • He did exatly what Angelo Mathews dd against the Aussies.. But this was way better!!!!! he had no time to react even. Magnificent work!!

  • Whats an awenis

  • This video would be better if the commentators knew how to speak English correctly

  • @MrJTwillis the world would be better if america learnt how to speak english like the rest of the world

  • @MrJTwillis they are you=fail

  • This looks like something I'd do in my backyard.

  • AMERICAN SPORTS ARE SO WHACK THAT THEY ARE ONLY PLAYED IN AMERICA. NO WHERE ELSE THEY PLAY AMERICAN FOOTBALL AND WHEN THEY WIN THEY CALL THEMSELVES WORLD CHAMPIONSS HAHAHAH.

  • @lanek214 That isn't a complete sentence. Baseball is played through central america and south america so in a sense you are correct. It is also very popular in Japan though. American Football has leagues set up throughout Europe albeit they are very small. Advice, take cap locks off and finish your sentence to avoid looking like a complete dumbass.

  • @TheBk11209 HAHAHAHA DUMBASS ALL THE SHIT YR STUPID ASS IS SAYING IS WRONGG FAGGIT. I LIVE IN AMERICA AND BEEN TO THE PLACES LIKE CENTRAL AMERICA, JAPAN AND ALSO EUROPE. CENTRAL AMERICA IS MAINLY FOOTBALL (SOCCER). VERY FEWW CARE ABOUT BASEBALL. EUROPE PEOPLE HATE AMERICAN FOOTBALL. DUMB FUCK I CAPS IT SO IT SOUNDS OUTT FUCKER I CUD DO WAT EVER THE FUCK I WANT U BITCH NOW TAKE A HIKE AND STOP POKING YR NOSE IN OTHER PEOPLE'S BUSINESS FRUIT.

  • @lanek214 You probably can't name more than 5 countries in central america. A good portion of the MLB is of Hispanic origin. Europe has american football leagues. Look up the Parma Panthers or the SS Lazio Mariners. They exist. Using multiple gay slurs makes you look like a fudgepacker. And if that is your reason for using caps lock, whats your reason for misspelling every other word wrong? Europe people? You mean Europeans?

  • @TheBk11209 Bitch u havent even been to central america u fucktard. Let me tell u when there is a World series in America, no hispanic countries from the central america play in it. Faggit in Europe, american football no one really knows the sport or gives the shit about it u fucker. Listen u fudgepacker dont comment me cuzz I dont give a shit about wat yr bitch ass has to say. Next time dont poke yr nose into people's business motherfucker.

  • Cricket is better than any American sports. American sports r 4 muppets.

  • I've done much better than that. I flicked it with my feet and kicked it on the wickets for a run out.

  • is this even a sport?

  • @xF1L1P1NOx lol someone is a dumbass

  • Chuck norris undercover

  • This sport is better than baseball

  • People actually play this game? Weird..

  • @lacrossegoat64 obviously not! ...

  • @lacrossegoat64 how is the rock you live under ignoramus? Lol

  • In ultimate frisbee that move is called "world's greatest", as in "he saved the day with an incredible world's greatest".

  • I thought this sport was a myth

  • @skilldevils it's bigger than any sport in your country

  • @skilldevils It's the second most played sport in the world after football (soccer).

  • Wtf is the dude saying at 0:47 lol

  • @davezbetter "look at the awareness"

  • Nice catch...does anybody know the two songs that are played in the background....???

  • @alhu04 the second one is heartbeat by enrique iglesias ft nicole :)

    dnt knw the other

  • welldone from pakistan

  • LOOK AT THE AWEEEENESSS

  • ohh

  • I laugh at the Americans calling this sport fake and saying play a real sport... This sport is hundreds of years older than your crappy sports. Maybe your whole country needs to engage with the world and learn to play a real sport that isn't exclusive to your country or a cheap rip off of a great sport.

  • That is the most incredibly brilliant piece of cricket I have seen in nearly 60 years, and I have seen a lot . . . wonderful stuff, and full marks to Small.

  • MORE FUUNY HRV CUP MOMENT

    /watch?v=ZiKmiJhSMkM&feature=g-upl&context=G26ccb95AUAAAAAAABAA

  • Lol this is a basic baseball catch

  • @ManULax14 Except that a cricket ball is 50 percent harder, the ball is going faster and he is not wearing a glove. If you find a video similar to this in baseball please do. Otherwise you are a complete dumbass LOL.

  • @ManULax14 lol you fail fuck, you have no idea the difference

  • @ManULax14 Quit eating burgers bro

  • worlds best cricket catch?

  • Absolutely Brilliant

  • @killacam9286 fail lol

  • @killacam9286 Fake?

  • I hope everyone was looking at the awareness.

  • Wow Does he play Rugby as well? Great Play!

  • WHAT THE CATCH :O

  • Nice

  • wowwwwwwwww..brillianttttttt

  • That's oustanding. Pity CD haven't been able to replicate this skill in other facets of their game. Hasn't been the best HRV Cup for them... not helped by NZ's atrocious summer though.

  • Unfortunately the catch will be credited in the scorebook to Mason. I do like how he dramatised his role though by catching it and falling over at the same time.

  • thumbs up if you are a kiwi! :D

  • new cricket 6xer dot com

  • Wow brilliant!!!!!!

  • Like A Boss

  • 31 people are jealous of this catch.

  • Saw a similar one whilst playing a club match in England in the 80's but no cameras/replay and it was given NOT OUT ...though I think we all knew it was actually OUT...ah well ...lol

  • Fucking hell, that's the catch of the decade, never mind the century.

  • @quantum734 decade = 10 years, century = 100 years, did you millenium? (1000 years)

  • HOWZAAAT!?!?!?!?!

  • Mad Skill ...

  • if i was the batsman id just walk off appreciating that catch.

just kidding i wouldnt expect that.

  • incredible

  • What a catch and I am from our friends from the land Down Under :D

  • He was thinking "Oh no you don't!"

  • at first i thought he kicked it back

  • over a million views! and its new zealand domestic 20/20...

  • @Liftwaffles Well a Twitter reference by Stephen Fry always helps...

  • Sorry looking at it again it does look like he was aware of the support fielder....my bad lol

  • @pedro99999 if you watched that level of cricket (not on TV ), you will find there is a supporter fielder when it comes to boundry fielding where possible all the time. Im not sure whether the fielder knew the catcher was there, at a guess i would think he was just looking to stop the boundry

  • I know nothing about cricket, and that was a nice play.

  • Undoubtedly the best catch ever...

  • yep that is amazing alright, but why oh did you upload this with the wrong aspect ratio! So bloody annoying.

  • @audiothc who cares about the fucken aspect ratio its a mint catch

  • "you have to reward that!!".. Well you don't, and its a stupid thing to say. This was a legitimate catch and awarded because of it. But to say you have to award it cos it was hard is silly. Its like saying a great ball given not out because it hits someone outside the line should be out cos its a good ball. Makes no sense. Great catch either way, one of the better ones :)

  • and mark richardson clearly says awareness! listen people!

  • good old palmy boys student! Nice work bevan! keeping tim o connor proud

  • I'm in the back wearing a red shirt hahaha :)

  • The 1st catcher would have been well aware that he was heading over the boundary line and like most cricketers in that situation you would attempt to throw the ball infield , then jump up to retrieve the ball and send it to the wicket. In just so happened that the second catcher was was close enough and in the first catcher's line of sight and almost in his face that it would have been a natural reaction to throw it to him. I think the commentators were a little over dramatic.

  • @pedro99999 so knowledgable... yet i bet you've never played first grade cricket in your life! how's the couch going for ya?

  • @NZSolutions No I never played cricket at all but those guys have , and you would expect their experience to be capable of that. The thing with that catch is that you very rarely see a 2nd catcher running that close in support of the 1st catcher on the boundary line. It is the rarity of the event that was exciting , not the execution. And I wouldn't say my comments were knowledgeable at all , just an observation.

  • How can you dislike this video - you may not like cricket but this is absolute brilliance!

  • As a long time cricket mum/widow... I know the training regime that goes into a fielding drill that enables the perfect timing of a catch such as this. The fielder knew his momentum would take him over the rope, so they are coached to throw as high into the air as possible so that their "backup fielder" can hopefully take the ball before it is grounded - superb skills with a little luck!!

  • This is the baseball equivalent of a batter getting out to a flyball about to go into the crowd for a homer but a fielder using a fallback jumpshot to toss the ball back in play, to be caught on assist, before he hits the fans

  • @docgonzales what is a fall back jumpshot?

  • discover world airports

  • WOOOO was awesome!!!! Was against my home team but who cares?!

  • Chuck Norris approves this catch!!

  • I'm a big horny milf!

  • Stephen was right. Good Lord!

  • Sweet play. Kind of wish I kew anything about cricket so I could fully appreciate how epic that play was, but the game puts me to sleep =|

  • Had he attempted the catch in any Indian ground, his head might have banged in one of those perilously close kept advertisement hoarding.

  • The Spirit of Sprint - Usain Bolt

    watch?v=sTQkZELvnUE

  • awesome catch, no one took a catch like this in the cricket history .....

  • It looks cool, but can anyone told me what happened ??? I´m really trying to understand this sport but it´s so complicated....

  • @TBonesSB the guy is not allowed to touch the boundary rope or behind the rope whilst in possession of the ball otherwise it would be 6 runs to the batting team. so the guy caught it and threw the ball to the other fielder before hitting the ground avoiding the 6 runs, the team mate then caught the ball inside the boundary, meaning the batsman has been caught out. textbook fielding

  • @KrustyJuggler1992 thanks! one more thing...what is run? and how many they usually have (to understand how serious is 6 runs...)

  • WTF

  • Where is the match being played, looks like Tauranga harbour in the background?

    Or Mt Maunganui?

  • It's very reassuring to see how quick the brain can work in a spot.

  • i never watch cricket but this is amazing

  • I'm a Sri Lankan fan, and I approve this catch.

  • @oshadak: I hope as a SL fan you also remember what Angelo Matthews did in a similar situation ... and that he did that without a second player

  • ggg

  • Wow

  • His mate would feel like a loser if he dropped it. Who would be the bevan then??

  • i can do better than that

  • Damm that is a fine catch, put himin the black caps

  • Niice

  • It's a shame Sky Sport are so poor at filming things.

  • these guys would LOVE baseball

  • @rwilhelm7 nah man, not much upside in baseball.

  • Anyone see that dive for the difficult catch at 1:14?

  • It's called a fadeaway jumpshot.

    Skills.

  • 27 r those who don't have awareness

  • wow makes me want to watch the match on tv now rather than just skim it

  • LOOK AT THE WEENIS

  • @Achack HE'S IN THA EAR

  • really amazing!!!

  • lol a double play in baseball....

  • @yes333yes nope, only one person went out.

  • A Greatest in cricket!

  • The 26 people who disliked this obviously play for the Northern Districts

  • Amazing.........!

  • Dislikers are mother fuckers....no sence of Cricket...Bull shitters.
