  • This one is sooo classic!

  • You wanna know what was really cool for me?

I first heard this song back in 1998 and I loved it. Then, years later when I played "Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories" (which is set in 1998), I heard this on the soundtrack and I was totally revved up! It was like time travel. XD

  • House music was cool when I first heard it but it gets too repetitive for me. As a musician I can recognize the patterns too easily and it gets boring. It's almost as though it tries to spell it out. No, I'll rather everything come at me all at once so when Iisten to the same song a second time, I learn to appreciate it more because I hear a new dimension to it.

  • @1fgchamp Tahts because you dont have a good system to play on . hahahhaha sorry for this but youre not a real house music fan . because you like it or not

  • I understand :)

  • If you didn't understand House Music, you would after hearing this. :)

  • Back in these times they produced the melody themselves and created the tracks with passion,

instead of remix or use 10 year older tracks, so cheap, commercial crap comes out.

  • 1982!

EXODUS - TOGETHER FOREVER DUB VERSION

    more music. less words!

  • @underscore84 I am of the 92 but I totally agree with you

  • Eddie Amador is such of a legend, he created rhythms simply by using synthezisers and samplers. There were no computers which could digitalize and replicate sounds in the same way like what's possible today.

  • @underscore84 its well music changes, lern 2 deal with it fag.

  • @underscore84 yes I agree, I love house music from around 98-04/05 at the latest, I think I stopped buying vinyl in 05.. These were the proper Ibiza days, not Ibiza rocks today! :-/

  • I was the location manager of this video. I ended up doing a good bit of production as well. It was pretty hard. 72hs working non-stop, shooting in different venues in Ibiza. It was the summer of 1998. The model is a cuban girl, can´t remember her name. Dancing scenes were shot live in Pacha Ibiza. Good times.

  • 176 cats didn't understand, still don't understand, and probably will never understand house music. hahahahahahaha! funkjunkeeatspeakerfreakdotcom

  • @underscore84 I'm glad I'm not the only one who thinks the likes of Swedish House Mafia and David Guetta are complete, mass-produced tripe!

  • gotta respect the classics.

  • Not everyone understands house music...

    House Music:

largely defined by repetative beats, often mechanically ie a drum machine, the music is produced/composed using loops of sound that progressively evolve and morph throughout the tune.

House is a feeling, and a way of life.

  • @daveygg1971 thank, any way to get the instrumental of this without the guy speaking????

  • @daveygg1971 It is also a movement!

  • /watch?v=f8h4lSdE_aE

  • Thanks be to YouTube!

    Hallelu!

  • its a classic

  • @JESUSdied4Dubstep - Dubstep? Seriously? This is like back in the mid 90's when D&B people wore camo's and thought they were harder than everyone else. Just becuz its harder doesn't mean its better.

  • @303acidxtc DnB is still awesome. Especially the stuff they played back then. I especially dig the old jungle music. But house music is more my style. I love a little variety when I go to a dance party, so all styles are welcome. Just don't play the stuff I heard on the radio in my car on the way up there. Leave it to the DJ's who suck to do that.

  • @madhouse2009 . I started going to parties/raves when UK Hardcore was still going. Before Jungle, Happy Hardcore and D&B. Breakbeats still get me going though. I went through phases of Hard Trance, Acid Trance, Acid House, Funky Breaks, Electro and Nu Skool Breaks all back in the 90's. Then straight up Chicago House and Disco House hit me in the late 90's and I was hooked.

  • @303acidxtc damn dude you went through a lot of genres. Ive Was hooked on Chic-House for a long time and dance house since i was 7. I love HOuse and all the genres it was connected with. All the types you went through i started to listen aswell. Since i want to DJ and Produce "Real" music, I want to gather as much as i can to through out to the crowd and tell them that this is what music really is.

  • @NightSilencerX77 yeah dude, tons of genres. I started dj'ing in 96. I always tried to educate the kids with good music, whether its new or 20 years old. If its good, it will always get the crowd moving. Always throw that stuff in your sets. As long as you pick songs that are timeless and real, you'll always be respected.

  • @303acidxtc Any tips on djing though?

  • @NightSilencerX77 Number one tip.....watch the crowd. If you start to lose them, get them back. React to their mood. Number two tip....learn to mix all different ways, whether its long drawn out mixes that last over 2 minutes, or quick Chicago Mega Mix style.

  • Number three tip.... Learn to build the songs to elevate emotion and energy. Listen to old skool house and trance dj mixes from the early-mid nineties. The good ones knew how to build a set. Doc Martin to Thee-O. DJ Dan, Terry Mullan, Derrick Carter. Their old stuff from the nineties.

  • Learn the different mixing styles and learn when to apply them. Their application will be dependent on the songs and what you are trying to accomplish.

  • @303acidxtc What kind of Equipment should i get for Chic House? im thinking Vinyls but maybe the new Gen stuff would be good i guess??

  • @NightSilencerX77 What's Chic House?. Anything to do with the best ever disco band by ne chance?

  • @madhouse2009. I still love the other genres, I just don't like some of the attitudes that the kids of some of the genres bring with them. Music just isn't music anymore. Fans of all genres don't mix in one place anymore. DJ's don't mix multiple genres in their sets anymore. They're scared they'll loose the dancefloor.

  • @madhouse2009 - I really hate the Top 40 crap coming out the last few years. Mixing our music with R&B? But, thats how most kids today get exposed to our music and seek out the parties and discover the real music.

  • Definitely moves the body and the soul. Definitely spiritual.

  • Don`t care about other posts, just thanks for the vid. Saw it once on VIVA, long time ago, kept a little bit of screen record. Today i just googled it and yooztubb got it :)

  • <3

  • sirdoninic11 thanks for the post....for anyone that wants to know what house muzik is.... it's a spiritual thing...a body thing....a SOUL thing...if it dosn't have these elements then it's not really house...eventhough the drum track might sound like house....I remember when this came out...just enuff of a sample of "Spank" really great memories....House was borne from the Urban cities...by ppl who couldn't afford Studio time but had ideas....thnx for the great cuts over years...Peace & Love
