This woman's singing should be listened to by all trad musicians....she has such a beautiful way of telling a song...tone, tempo, timing, and so on ..her ''style'' is never the concomitant of poor technique....the preservatuion of tradition and beauty!

Yes, very alive and busy, mostly in the States these days but trips back to Scotland to teach etc.

Where's some more like " the day we went to roths--" sorry I can't spell it or remember the word. This is one of her most beautiful ballads.

Somehow you don't notice the female singing about a female.
This voice is so EXCEPTIONAL in every way, that the heart leaps to hear it.
It's a song about love, I guess that's really what matters.
