There are a lot of scholars and a lot of opinions but in the end you have to follow your heart and do what option presented feels the best :)
I remove my makeup before I do Wudu because it is waterproof and I can't clean it well enough during- When I wash during wudu with all my makeup on I dont get that "clean" feeling.
Something I like is that u can pray with your make-up on (that goes for moisture creams too- very important for those of us in colder places!) AS LONG AS you dont break Wudu:)
I think there are quiet a few mistakes which are apparent to me.
Please check from your scholars again. To what I know, you have to remove the makeup before you perform ablution. and your ablution is not complete if you have makeup on you.
Similarly, there are other small mistakes which i noticed. Please check with ur scholars again. because there may be something wrong which u are teaching people here.
I am a little worried(concerned) whether you got it right or not . I am 99.999% sure you are absolutely right , it might be cuz of the way you worded it that i got concerned -
Question: After ears , one must not only put water on their nape (back of the neck) but to the front also .. RIGHT (You didnt point it in this video , but yeah u jsut said neck) ... so thought to bring it up for you
Plus you should've mentioned for new muslims that " IF EVEN ONE HAIR OF YOUR PRESCRIBED PARTS REMAINED DRY , THEN YOUR WUDHU IS NOT COMPLETED(DONE) "
And you can do it once for every body part (as one does the needful) , only implies if you're short of water . But its good to follow the SUNNAH anyday :-)

hye... what 'mazhab' r u using? [mazhab syafi'ie/hanbali/maliki/hanafi] just asking, coz i'm a bit confused coz ur arrangement of the procedure is a little bit different from me. i'm a malaysian by the way, and we use mazhab syafi'ie...^_^
Great video, mashaAllaah! I have one question: While performing wudu, are we supposed to wash our feet with right hand of left hand? I've always washed my feet with my left hand (because I've always thought that feet are kind of 'impure' and that's why they should be washed with left hand). Now I've seen some wudu videos and in many of those videos muslims wash their feet with right hand... So which way is the right way???? Please, tell me!
i think the intention of this video is good, but when teaching you have to now the difference in authenticity and bidah Also to dress correctly not revealing your shape! and not wear clothing that resembles the kufar woman ////imj
Prophet(PBUH) said only " Bismillah" described by Kutayba Ebna Syed(R) from Hazrat Abu Hurayra(RA), Hadith book AbuDaud Hadith no 101. Prophet (PBUH) never ever wipe his neck. There is not a single Authentic hadith. So Please don't wipe your neck. It's new invention(Bidah). May Allah(SWT) give you right knowledge. Amin
hi Sisters, Assalamuallykum. Do you know the wipe of neck is new invention. Prophet(PBUH) and his companion(RA) never ever wiped their neck? Please can you show me one single authentic Hadith from Prophet(PBUH) about wipe neck. Do you know if any body follow the Bidah(New invention) they are going to hell. You upload the vedio lots of people follow it. Please don't listen the people and believe. Beleive onle Quran and authentic Hadiths. May Allah(SWT) give you right Knowledge. Amin
But regarding the socks, ist actually only a special kind of sock you can do the wudu on, so ppl need to be careful with that. But it was a great vid and very informative! JazakAllah!
Mashallah Rebacca reminds me the sira with our mother Aisha( let Allah bless her) she used to give Iftaa(answering the questions in relation to islam) to the sahaba men and women and I pray inshAllah she will be the 21st century of western Aisha from people will as about the Islamic issues ameen
As-salaam 'alaykum sisters :) I have a question. If you have wudu and you put socks on, then your wudu becomes invalid after (say you went to the bathroom) can you still wipe your hands over the top of your socks when you refresh your wudu?
@eyebagsRATED: Wa3laykum assalaam. Just to answer the question you had, yes it is is permissible to wipe over the socks when remaking wudu, IF YOU HAD WUDU BEFORE PUTTING YOU SOCKS ON, as you mentioned in your question. This is proven as the companion of the Prophet (peace be upon him) Ali (may Allaah be pleased with him) said "If Islaam was based on logic, then we would wipe the bottom of our socks not the top" This applies for Hijaab aswell.
Salaam, I do have a question, the part where you wash your nose, does it have anything to do with the following hadith?
Sahih Bukhari Volume 4, Book 54, Number 516:
Narrated Abu Huraira:
The Prophet said, ?If anyone of you rouses from sleep and performs the ablution, he should wash his nose by putting water in it and then blowing it out thrice, because Satan has stayed in the upper part of his nose all the night.?
Can you explain to me how can Satan sleep in your nose? Can that be proven?
Jazakum Allah Khair on all your videos. May I point one thing out? I don't think wiping the neck is part of the wudu. Actually, I used to do it until many people told me it's neither part of the body parts required for wudu mentioned in the Quran, neither was it Sunnah. So I stopped doing it. WAllahu Aa'lam.
Thanks for this video.I like going to flea markets on the weekends and the bathrooms there are do dirty.Knowing that there's a way to do wudu without having to remove my scarf or have my feet touch an iffy floor makes me so much more relaxed. No more delaying my salat for when I return home.Thank you.And another thing, are there any ahadith stating that the prophet(saw)included washing his neck during wudu?I was never taught this.
and could you guys do another video about what breaks your wudu.. & if you wear makeup afterwards would the wudu still stay? because diff. people say diff things and itt confuses me.
One question.. (I know I know I've just commented 3 times!!) but if you have wudu and you put socks on, then your wudu becomes invalid after (say you went to the loo) can you still wipe your hands over the top of your socks when you refresh your wudu?
What about your arms in public? Can you wipe over your sleves? On if the shirts I have the sleeves are really tight, I would have to take it off.... Thank you, this video has helped. May allah bless you both..
I seriously have benefited so much from these videos with Sister Rebecca! Shes so cute MA! Let us know when you put the link up for the doc download. :)
