They hear "HOPE" and "CHANGE" and that's all it takes to grab their attention. The reason Obama is even addressing the issue is because 'the media' would accuse him of being a coward if he didn't. The phrase "putting lipstick on a pig" is an old one - a phrase that MCCAIN has used in several speeches. McCain's campaign needs to put together a list of phrases and words that they would consider derrogatory to Gov. Palin. That way we could proceed without further risking offending Gov. Palin's sensibilities.
I am sure Senator Obama did not realize that the republican campaign had exclusive rights to the word "lipstick".

Abstinence only failed John McCain who had several affairs while married to his first wife. One of those affairs was with millionaire Cindy whom he married. He dumped his 1st wife while she was recovering from severe injuries suffered in an auto crash. Now Palin wants teenagers to abstain AND have no access to birth control information.
