The armor more commonly used is a garage kit thats been around fer a long while now. these are made supposedly from a suit that was used as a tour /display suit. This particular armor is not accurate at all. But with some heavy duty refitting and work one could make it more accurate.

@SuperSonicFan9000 1. This Stormtrooper is an authentic replica, so it is $1000 - (it does include the molded armor, helmet, etc.) 2. If you have someone assisting you, it takes only 15 minutes or so to put on 3. Seeing out of it shouldn't be a problem (assuming your own vision is good) 4. In terms of bulk - you may not want to sit down in it to have dinner, but many people wear it to parades and conventions and do not have any issues with it being too bulky
@dramirez818 The boots are sold separately, since shoe size varies so much from person to person. As for height, the standard jumpsuit measures 5'5" from shoulder to ankle, so you would want to be at least a few inches taller than that for the best fit (and taller if you ordered the XL.)

They do have recoil as any true Star Wars fan would know. From wookiepedia:

@66Nwolf I tried to remove my comment but I can't. I've since seen close up pics of this armour and now understand why people aren't impressed with it. That said, it's probably fine for a halloween costume. Some people just take the whole "screen accurate" thing way too seriously.

If you wanna buy it, I STRONGLY suggest you get the perfect size or else you will be like the guys who despise it and post nasty comments of it on amazon. One more thing: Even if you get the right size, you may have to modify it a little bit like to fit perfectly.
