@Elmoh911 There are lots of covers of that song. Do you even play drums??? The drums on that music is nothing compared to most of AAL. I'm not saying Portnoy is better or worst than Navene.... Some AAL songs are way more complex that DT ones. You cannot compare drummers with that. I've no doubt Portnoy would play AAL as good or even better thatn Navene. They are very different in style and I personally prefer Navele. Bouth of then are pretty damn good!

it's shitty that this band seems to be plagued by equipment failure. on summer slaughter in detroit his wireless cable died on him. seems to have a lot of problems with that from what i've seen on live videos. but tosin, bulb and navene are incredible.

I'm learning this on the drums note for note, and I can see the drummer isn't playing this properly as on the album, he's missing off axis cymbal hits etc... also he's hitting the hats whilst the guitar piece is supposed to be in solo. Although admittedly there are unplayable computerised percussive parts on the album version just before the "proper" drum part comes in.

But NONE OF THEM know how to use a guitar the way Tosin does, rather than using an 8-string to achieve heaviness, he brings out it's full potential, achieving heavy and beautiful simultaneously. He is a more than true inspiration and deserves much more recognition than he has been recieving. Tosin Abasi defines artist.
