This was my first introduction to Gary Oldman. Liked it so much that I went out and bought a model of Dracula in that armor. Then well, been a fan ever since. He is one of the more decent and more talented actors in the world today.

I think '92 or '93 sometime. There were 3 versions I think, the wolf, the armor and the prince. You had to glue and paint them yourself.

The problem here is Bram Stoker made his Count a Szekley. They lived in Northern Wallachia and were part German and part Hungarian.

The historic Voivode Vladislaus Draculea was from the Southern part of Wallachia (although born in Sighisoara in Transylvania, where his father was assigned to during the winter of 1430-1431, and was ethnically a Romanian.

Timothy Dalton did a more accurate version of the Romanian accent in the mediocre movie The Beautician and the Beast.
