I bought it (I love the books and movie) and then my cousin (9) wanted to watch it with me, she had nightmares for about a week, in the cinemas my friend (13) was covering his eyes and ears...It is definitely NOT a children's movie.

Yes I was referring to "I am number four" as a children's movie, it's also a movie not worthy of this song, and when I first heard this song, on Harper's Island, I loved it instantly. Harper's Island put it in such an emotional and gripping scene, it was so well done.
