  • Interesting. A strange mix, ice-cream (Dorham, Coltrane, Hayes, Israels) and chopped pickles (Taylor) I would have liked to hear the other players respond a little more to Mr. Taylor's deconstructive comping.

  • @blueyedboymrdeath Yes, sounds like Taylor is trying to make them respond to a more "deconstructive" rythm. For me his comping is a little too overplayed.

  • Cecil Taylor aint playin' the right chords.......somethings amiss here....he should have layed out cause apparently he dont know the tune or he never played this tune in Bb or he just dont know the damn song!

  • @ronaldohavana still, he continued to play the piano....

  • @ronaldohavana XDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD seriously dude? You better wash ya ears

  • Blissful....they just can't do it like this anymore, sorry.

  • @boomerang905 Hey, thanks for susbcribing! I hope I can upload more videos soon

  • @boomerang905 we can have fun trying though!! :))

  • yea man

  • No. Gracias.

  • @BRILLIANTCORNRS Como no te puede gustar? Bueno, en gustos se rompen generos.

  • That's what I'm TALKIN' about!

  • Kenny Dorham, John Coltrane, Cecil Taylor, Chuck Israels, Louis Hayes.

Recorded in NYC, October 13, 1958

Listed under Cecil Taylor: "Hard Driving Jazz"

  • Aw baby. Mf. Coltrane has such a timeless look. Jam on and thank you for the post.
