Interesting that British Airways claims that the "Open Skies" airline venture is its own, and has nothing to do with Air France at all.

The video shows a flight to Paris on Air France and a return flight from London on Open Skies.

So I don't get the caption of the video at all.

I flew LAX-LHR on Air New Zealand in Business Premier a few times. Don't forget that NZ is another non-US/GB carrier on the route as it is part of their continuing flight from AKL. I would also highly recommend Air New Zealand.

Nice video. Too bad AF axed this route a few months back. I know BA has several non-stops a day on 747's and AA and UA each have a direct flight from LAX. Not sure what the load factors were in terms of non-profitability for the route. Anyone have details?
