10 years ahead of the Café del Mar compilations and unlike Moments in Love (spoilt by a corny title and not worthwhile singing), better.

Always wondered if the hu hu hu hu and voice at the end was inspired from Laurie Anderson's O Superman. Try opening 2 windows and playing both simultaneously, some speed synching would be cool but they mix quite well.

In 1984 I bought the 12 vinyl of Moments in Love the long version and Love Beat was a second section on the B side of the record. I have loved this and Moments In Love since I have first hear them.. I have cried rivers to both songs.. when life gets hard i listen and have HOPE :>>>>

Breakups can be messy, and on the last track of 'Daft' - the album released after the departure of Dudley, Jeczalik and Langan - Morley and Horn chose to omit Anne and Gary's voices from "Love Beat". The 3 digits in "(Three Fingers of) Love" that are referenced could be double entendre - Paul is the fourth finger and Trevor the thumb. But suffice it to say that Art of Noise were never truly a complete hand without each other. Together, they were a powerful organization and a fragile chemistry.
