I was in Happy Valley for the UM-PSU game when this happened and my friend called me from a Detroit bar in Chicago. Michigan's magical '06 season. Michigan went 11-1 that year, Tigers won the AL, Pistons made it to the conference finals, Wings made it to conference finals. Great sports year.

Last year at Tiger Fest I asked Magglio if he had the baseball. He said he did. I forgot to ask what he traded for it.

My wife and I were at a bar across the street from our apartment the night he did this... I have been a tigers fan since I was a little boy, and NOTHING will ever top this in Detroit - EVER... I was the first one standing up at the bar yelling " There it goes " the bar went NUTS.... It was incredible... The rest of the night, the bartender got everyone in the bar totally drunk - IT WAS AWESOME.... GO TIGERS !!!!! Win it all in 2011 !!!!

At the top of the 9th the power went out in our town so we had to pile in our vehicles and listen to the game on the radio and this is exactly what i heard. What an awesome night.
