im born and raised in Richmond CA, i couldn't afford to live in a fucking 2 bedroom apt, right next to train tracks and an oil refinery, right off of rumrill near the " anchor "pawn shop. prices went up so much , and this place was a shit hole in the middle of 2 trailer parks.

Well, I kind of agree with you but if we were to eliminate bullshit TV and remove all the violence from it, completely abolish child and social services (letting families stay together) and get the federal government 100% OUT of education (that means no more dept. of education!!!), remove fluoride from the water supply, and finally kill off a few of the corporate monopolies then I can promise ALL of these problems would take care of themselves in 5 or 10 very short years.

Excellent documentary. Contrasting the detachment of people in Pt. Richmond with the commitment of Richmond residents to stopping the violence and helping kids find a life was very effective.  A really positive picture emerging from a troubled place. Great interviews. I look forward to more.
