someone plz reply but howcome when you are braking when coming into a corner you cant turn as heavy when the brakes are on so you have to release the brakes to go round the corner

@SenyorPony As any grip that is used for acceleration( or de-acceleration) cannot be used for cornering. Thus if you want to corner sharper you have to let go off the brake or accelerator.

@SonyGuy96 down force is what keeps the car on the ground basically its the opposite of what planes use! :) hope this helps.

Two main reasons why I won't be buying this shit. 1. It comes with SecuROM - FAIL. 2. Too many idiots in the world hell-bent on cheating, hacking & otherwise ruining the games when they've been released - FAIL.

It's also made by Codemasters, they seem too happy to shove that SecuROM shit down our throats. Fuck them, fuck the cheats & fuck SecuROM. I'm not buying it. Oh, one last thing, the game gets released, but after a few months there's hardly anyone left to play it online with. Yawn.

@doomed151 i used to play many racing games with my xbox 360 controller (on pc) and to say the least the experience is so much more enjoyable (and much more controllable) with a wheel. its not to say that this game will be impossible with a gamepad (although it might be close, like nfs shift was for me, not impossible, but deffinately more difficult than it should have been) the experience with a wheel just feels better and has much finer control.

Since they've already modelled the 2009 cars and they have that year's license I wish they would have both 2009 and 2010 in the game for the career mode because otherwise you'll just be driving the 2010 season over and over again with only your driver changing teams etc.

I am not a huge fan of how their game menu looks and feels and i really don't like the feeling of the cars in GRID, DIRT and DIRT2, it feels so "arcade game" and i would want the new F1 game to feel more like a driving simulator that you can enjoy driving with a G25. But i shouldn't judge it before I've tested it! But my expectations went dooooown.

Based on people's opinions of the preview versions, I think rFactor will remain the F1 sim of choice. Codemasters are notorious for lying about producing sims when the final products aren't even in the same ball park as proper simulation games.

I'm sure casual F1 fans will get a kick out of this though.

One thing i really hope they havent used from the old game is the pit stop thing! oh my god it was bad!! But i am really looking forward to this game! i hope it's going to be a simulator as they say. Because is hate games where they are acadeish and then that's just it. The best racing game should be a 100% realistic sim (or as close as you can possibly get it) and then just give the player the freedom to choose how large a margin of error he/she would like.
