  • 240P is for safety reason's ;)

  • Sounds like a melody from Legend Of Zelda - Oracle of Seasons...

  • Amazing :D

Check out my tunes in my Channel :)

    Again, great song :)

  • Would you please upload the FTM or at least the NSF of this song?

  • WELL DONE!!!!!!

I think you should use the static as drums rather than samples but the melody is absolutely perfect.

  • Could I beg for a Famitracker tutorial, sir?

I can't find any decent introduction to tracking at all, much less this one...

  • @SpiralPegasus I know it's a late reply, but look up 8BitDanooct1's tutorial.

  • 0:50 - 1:00 is awesome!

  • this is eypikk

  • ...Can I have the NSF plz ?

  • Woooaaa !!!

    What an incredible tune !!

5 stars, I mean, *thump up*

  • How/what do you need for DCPM?

  • Not sure what you mean exactly, but you can import WAV samples in Famitracker and have some control over the DPCM conversion in the process.

  • This is sick! I wish I can somehow make an SNES re-arrangement of this.

  • i hope i will be one day as awesome as you!

  • is this an original composition?

  • Yes, although a manual conversion from the original .XM file.

  • 6699 veiws.

    Wonderful.

  • dyou know how to import a midi successfully?

  • never tried to

    /raina

  • @fatchicksneedlovetoo You don't. I tried, it came strange all the time D:

  • I can only make 256 rows... how can I make the songs longer like yours?

  • By using the pattern arranger in the top left corner.

    /raina

  • can you please teach me how to make chip music :p feel free to say no but i love the sound of it and i would really like to learn! I originally found it through dubmood...

  • sounds like castlevania to me

  • I have been trying to figure this out- i have played with trackers here and there but am totally confused about assigning the instruments in this one- for some reason every channel just keeps getting assigned to the same instrument for me and I am not seeing any good tutorials out there- any suggestions?

  • In case you haven't already gotten the answer to the question, after the note there are two digits. They're going to be the digits of the instrument you have highlighted at the time, and that number after the note represents which instrument is going to be played in the channel.

  • Except in FamiTracker's case the sound waveforms are tied to the channel used. The instruments only consist of envelopes and those are applied to the channel specific sound generators.

You can play 12.5%, 25% and 50% pulse waves on channels 1 and 2, triangle wave with 1-bit volume control on channel 3, different noise patterns (depending on note pitch) on channel 4 and DPCM samples on channel 5. Innanintendostylee.

  • I love the song!!! What is the name??

  • It's in both the video title and the description...

  • the famitracker i got can make wavs

  • i've just downloaded the famitracker, but i don't know how to use it....can i have help? :(

  • read the how to ... type MadTracker tutorial on google.. and read the tutorial.. its pretty much like any other sequencer

  • Nice tune.

  • I NEEEED HELP ON HOW TO USE IT!!!!!!

  • Yeah, neither do I. I guess you should just try tinkering with the thing until something comes up.

Back on topic, this is not something I would listen to while dodging bullets. Good song, though.

  • NEED HELP WITH FAMITRACKER....

  • think you could help me on how to figure out the famitracker works? 'cause when i installed it i had NO clue how....

  • Wow, awesome!

How'd you get that reverb effect on there?

  • There is no reverb. ;)

See my answer to tashaklikedi. /raina

  • I can't even do anything on this program, no instructions! I need help!...Ps, i like your song :P

  • can you make midi files with famitracker???

  • No, it seems. Took about 5 seconds to find out. /raina

  • how'd you do the conversion? did you have to re-write it note for note from MilkyTracker to FamiTracker?

  • Yeah, I did it all manually. And actually, the point of this exercise was (more than to make a conversion) to learn to use FamiTracker. And in order not to worry about the music, but to learn technique, I picked some familiar source material that was already as if within 2A03 limitations. /raina

  • I WANT THE MP3!!!!!!!

  • How do you convert FamiTracker (FTI. Files) to MP3's?

  • The first step would probably be exporting the .FTM as .NSF. Then using a player/plug-in to write a .WAV, then encode that. Or, to do it properly, transfer the song on a real NES and record it from the audio out. /raina

  • Know where i can find any mp3 sample's done with the 2nd method ?

How would the 2 compare, sound quality wise ?

  • Where are you getting this ".FTM" & ".NSF" from? I said FTI! I don't have a damn NES. I want to know the simplest way to do it online if there is a way possible. Thank you for your time.

  • I know you said FTI but I thought that was a typo and you meant songs, not instrument files. Converting .FTI to .MP3? I doubt there's automated conversion for that and frankly I fail to see the point in it. How would the note pitch be decided for example? And why a lossy format like MP3?

If I needed samples of FT instruments, I would write some notes down, export the song and go the route I described above. /raina

  • I really like this music

I'm trying to learn to create music myself =)

Thanks a lot for keeping me inspired!

  • what sucks about this program you need to enter note per Note......

    gosh it's long

  • How else would you write music? /raina

  • whoa nice song

how do you make the reverb effect??

  • There is no reverb effect.

Although if you are referring to the fake delay effect at around 0:52, that's just what it is: A fake delay. First, a note is played. Then it is played at lower volume 3 rows later. It all fits on one channel because the actual notes are played on every other (even) row, and their fake delay counterparts are interspaced between them (odd rows). /raina

  • nice work :)
