All it looks like is a douched up version of the 1974 movie. They seemed more focused on the police car flipping over and shooting than what was actually going on in the story. In the 1974 one, they only kill one person on the train, the car flips over once because it's in a hurry to get the money and no one has a shoot out on the god damn bridge. Most of the dialogue is probably changed too since women and the Japanese would have had a shit fit.

The old version is under the same exact name only 123 is spelled out. I actually talked to someone at my old job who was on set when the 2009 one was being filmed and they said it was definitely different from the 1974 but she said she still liked it so who knows. She confirmed there being more action in the 2009 one which annoys me because what really made the 1974 one great was the dialogue. Unfortunately no one likes to think anymore, including Hollywood. I'll see the 2009 and compare though.

FYI I watched it a week after it came out and the remake was entirely WORSE than what what I expected it to be. The actors from the 1974 one were probably rolling in their graves. All the 2009 one was a massive string of curse words, lousy portrayal of NYC as usual, and politically correct actors and scripts because people would be having a shit fit if they kept the original dialogue from 1974's version. And please think next time before you answer a 6 month old comment and assume.
