  • where did you get the music?

  • PAN AM was awesome awesome awesome awesome, the greatest and only best airline that ever was !!! It was the ICON of the power of the United States.....The government turned unfortunately its back on it. Pan am even helped transport troops back to the states. It was a shame to let them go. It was a disaster. We hope they come back some day.

  • pan am was always the best. It reunited families just like it did to ours. We love you Pan Am.

  • My (and my parents) lovely memories of Pan Am.

Flight to NY Cancelled, very long compensation battle

Another Flight to NY, Delayed over 12 hours, No food, drink, accomodation provided (parents with a baby and todler left in Heathrow Terminal with no information) No Compensation provided or even apollogy.

    Flight to Miami, Food Poisoning

    Flight to London, Bags lost

    Result, stopped flying with them.

SORRY PAN AM! An Icon YES but better than other airlines? NOPE, THEY'RE ALL TERRIBLE! :D

  • @Tharamir3rd Yes but you have to understand these first. Pan Am lives in 1927-1991 okay, if he still operated right now i'm sure it will be the most shittest airline ever IF we COMPARING BACK to the 1927-1991 standards.

Pan Am is the world most vast and extensive airliner, covering all 6 continents, Well they're even make the same mistake like other major airlines. They even have a Million passenger to served with, of course problem happen when handling large amount of passenger.

  • Pan Am was the an Americans Icon! Please revive it....... The Aviation Industry will be, (once again) cheerful.....

  • @peterFans What dream world of Aviation are you talking about? Pre War Travel? A burst of about 5 years after the War before Charter Holidays began? I Think Pan Amm was iconic but lets not exagerate shall we.

  • @Tharamir3rd ohh man don't be pathetic will you? did i exaggerate the figure? 1950-1970 is the golden age of commercial aviation, its even draw all the major aircraft aviation to built the passenger plane. Joe Sutter (the father of B747) even mention ON HIS BOOK when T. Trippe as the Pan Am CEO stepped down in 1968, commercial aviation will never be the same before! Did i exaggerated it?Maybe i am too emotional but i write alongside with the FACT!

  • Odd, why can't I post a link to a Youtube video? Then I click on "create a video response" and it still won't let me reference a Youtube video. What do they have against their own content?

  • A Pan Am tribute without including the Pan Am Space Clipper from the movie, "2001; A Space Odyssey" ? Come on man!

  • 20 years later and I'm still missing this truly wonderful airline. No plane looks quite as good as one with the Pan Am livery on it. The 707 and 747 are my personal favorites. I had the pleasure to fly Pan American to many exciting destinations in the 70's on the 747 clipper class and nothing beat the experience. Flying was memorable and Pan Am made it classy. Thanks for posting.

  • Sry bad grammar below

  • if the US can help PAN AM, maybe it won't go bankrupt, but da US debt.... And the cruel aviation world made pan am go.

  • RIP Pan Am and TWA

  • Dear All,

I have some questions about psychology:

    (1) Why do we love flying?

    (2) Why do we feel more happy and optimistic when watching airlines' TV commercial?

    (3) Why does flying is an representation of culture diversity?

    (4) Why do we think that aerospace service and industry are representations of leadership and "working together"?

THANK YOU IN ADVANCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)

  • PANAM was really a global airline, flying around the world, daily...covering All the major cities of the world. SIA and Thai were small embroyonic carriers then and United flew only US-domestic. Sad that this airline disapeard.

  • @am1966ath

It is sad to see PAM AM bankrupt and close down, but, at least, they made history.

  • Pan Am were too much. Innovative trend setter whose legacy is still hard to beat, even today. Nice memories. The 747 is still very present for years to come. Clearly missing is Pan Am. Thanks for the memories

  • @NigeriaAirways If pan am never existed, the 747 wouldn't have existed either!

  • COOL Pam Am we need you again.Investor please lift up this great airlines again
