@6PaCHooLiGuN I said that when there was only Pinnacle Studio 12...since then Pinnacle Studio 14, 15 and Avid Studio have been launched in the market place and I am happy to say that all of those work with Magic Bullet Looks too!!! If you are having an issue with it not appearing then this issue is related directly to your graphics card. Check to make sure your graphics card is compatible with Magic Bullet. Check the AVID FAQ's for more info about it.

@seeka224t If Magic Bullet: Looks is not showing in Pinnacle Studio, then this may be an issue with your graphics card. If the graphics card being used is unsupported, this plug-in is not installed. That is why it is not showing up. You must check to see if your graphics card is supported. Also you should check to make sure that you have the latest drivers for your graphics card. I am also going to send you a link too to read more!

Check out Mexicali it looks like the movie Traffic...Neo looks like the Matrix and Bleach Bypass looks like Saving Private Ryan. It is amazing that you can shoot regular video and use the Magic Bullet that comes with Pinnacle Studio to make it look like film.

@weeq326 During installation, if you do not have the correct graphic card, a warning message will appear saying that states you do not have the correct graphic card requirements. Did you get that message? Search in Google: Magic Bullet Looks Graphic Card Requirements...you will get a bunch of information that should help you get an answer.

@kiki4everful Magic Bullet Looks comes with the software. If it did not download then there might be a problem with the graphics card you have installed on your computer. Make sure that you have the latest graphics cards drivers...so update your graphics card. Magic Bullet Looks is very graphics card intensive and if you do not have a graphics card that will handle the processing the software will not show up.

@AnthonyMartorina its not true. First I used Magic bullet Looks on Sony Vaio with rather slow graphic card- 248 RAM ATI RADEON . It was working really good. but preview was the biggest problem, it was too slow for me. Now I bought a new laptop with GeForce 550m 1gb ram and Magic bullet wont even start :P thats crazy

@donpablo18 So sorry to hear that. Make sure that you have the latest updated drivers for your graphics card on your computer...that might fix the problem...it has done it for me in the past. If that does not work I would try and reach out to Pinnacle Tech Support.

@ZzMw2MstrzZ Remember to always use a larger screen too for your computer...resolution settings...you always want to go down in size when making a Camtasian file...you never want to capture small and then try to go up in size to a HD file.

@ZzMw2MstrzZ I used a program called Camtasia. It works really well. You can do zoom ins and also add graphics for call outs. I captured the screens in a HD format and then brought them into Studio to do more editing...like the Montage Open and Voiceover.

@shanablodgett Pinnacle Studio does background rendering and it sounds like your clip might be rendering in the background when you are editing. There are a couple of things to do to try and fix this: Go To Setup<Video and Audio Preferences and Uncheck<Enable Full Resolution Preview and Uncheck<Enable Background Rendering...this should hlep. Also check the power settings of your laptop and make sure they are on High Performance (click on Battery/Plug on bottom right toolbar).

@anaranjadoX375 You have to find out what graphics card you have in the computer & go to that companies website. They also have a program that will check your system & tells you if a updated driver exists. If that driver exists then you will be able to update the graphics card. The Magic Bullet Looks are very intesnsive when it comes to processing your video and making it look like film...it is like photoshop for video...so you need to make sure you have the latest graphics card.Cheers, Anthony

@Bloodleafproduction Magic Bullet comes wtih Ultimate. Just make sure that you have the drivers updated on your graphics card...this should help fix it...if this is the issue. Magic Bullet uses the power of the graphics card to process those film effects.

@MrPopyotop Which Version of Studio do you have? Ultimate? Ultimate Collection? The Shine plug-in only comes with the Ultimate Collection. The Magic Bullet comes wih both the Ultimate and Ultimate Colletion. Magic Bullet should be found with the other video effects. If you do not see it, then you may need to update your graphics card. Magic Bullet is very intensive and needs a good graphics card to run...it is like Photoshop for Video.

@MrPopyotop So let me understand first you bought the Ultimate and then you bought the Ultimate Collection? Make sure that you completely uninstall the Ultimate Version and then load up the Ultimate Collection Version. This might be the problem...I am not sure. Before you do that...did you look in the Video Toolbox where all of the plug-ins are to make sure that the 6 Red Giant Plug-ins are not in there?

Notice above the video is a pull down arrow that says 19 videos..click on this and you can see all of the old training videos. Also check out the AVID Pinnacle Studio 14 Training if you have Studio 14.

@gymshoe17 The stand alone magic bullet looks gives you a little more control over creating your movie filters, but I have been using the Magic Bullet Looks in Pinnacle Studio for over a year now and I have all of the control that I need to make my videos look like real film...so glad I saved money by getting the Magic Bullet looks bundled with Pinnacle Studio.

well, seeing as you said 2 gb, i would deff go with 2 gigs. but i dont really know, and dont have the energy to check. but you better be damned sure you have at least 50 gigs of free memory before you try pinnacle. it has to render everything to a seperate file, giving you two of every single video. then it makes no effort to clean up after itself. pinnacle gives you the finger once again!

dude, dont buy pinnacle if you want to do real editing. good for home videos, not much else.

Pinnacle Studio V12 Ultimate comes with 2 Cd. The first one is the Installation Cd and the other one is the Plug In. To get both Magic Bullet and Boris Graffiti you need to install the Plug In Cd. I hope that helps
