Sorry I haven't commented back sooner! I don't know the name of this group. They were at my friend's birthday party. One of the pipers is the husband of a co-worker. So I can't confirm if it is Celtic Bhangra or Insane Dholies--Celtic Bhangra sounds closest to what I remember. Bagpipes also go well with Taiko drumming. Celtic fiddles do, too. Mixed music is good!
It's surprising just how beautifully bagpipes tunes and dhol beats fit together so well! This is somethign that I've noticed across all the bagpipe + dhol videos on youtube!
