I agree completely with the person below me, my nose was the only thing that didn't heal right when I pierced it. But that's because my dad hit me in the nose and it somehow got attatched to him and he yanked it out of my nose. I've now had my monroe for about two years.. :)

As a piercer, I find it really annoying that people are saying you're irresponsible. As long as you know the proper technique, which you clearly do, and have properly sterilized equipment, there is no difference between you piercing yourself and going to a shop to have it done. I have done several of my own piercings and have had no problems.

@o0XOpheliacX0o Yeah pretty much, but say it a little more professionaly. Just walk in and ask to speak to the manager, then tell him that you've been interested in becoming an apprectice. You will have to take C.P.R classes and some blood hygenic classes You don't get paid either. Once you've done a couple years of apprenticing you will have to take a test to get your license, which costs over $1,000. Here is a link for the state of Oregon's requiments and costs They differ from state to state.

i did mine myself with a needle and steralised the needle by soaking it in salt water mixed with TCP and just made sure i washed my hands before doing it =)
