  • while i was doing this i selected something wrong and the camera angle made the bench look funny. i thought i messed the whole thing up and started from scratch. i learned later it was just the camera perspective or whatever..

  • cool, the grain and textures really gives you a good impression of how it will look

  • i reall like how you can import your own textures or (materials) on here, but I have to say this video and the next, #8 were harder for me to follow, and I had kind of a hard time with positioning the texture, but I eventually got the hang of it :)

  • Placement of the woodgrain on here was never a thought to me because I was just trying to give an impression of it. But this makes a big difference especially with the end grain and the dovetails.

  • This is cool. I've only used the stock materials in sketchup, I wasn't aware you could import pictures to use as textures. Nice feature.
